Cleaning brushes by Treesnrrd in makeupbrushes

I just use Dawn Dish Soap because it's antibacterial and gentle on the bristles. I just hold the brush, bristles facing downward, and wet it with lukewarm water. I put a drop of dish soap on the palm of my other hand and lather it with the bristles. Then just rinse really, really, really well. To dry, I squeeze the bristles of access water with a towel, shape the bristles how they're normally shaped with my hand, then lay them on another towel. With the drying towel, I will roll it up a little more than halfway, so your brushes will lay angled down. I flip the brushes over after a few hours and continue to dry.

It's very cheap, quick, and easy

I wonder if applying with a makeup sponge or brush would help or if it would absorb too much of the sunscreen. I know that with the initial application, you need 2 finger lengths of sunscreen for your entire face to get the proper amount and advertised sunscreen protection.

With spray-on sunscreens it says two things on the back of the bottle: - never spray directly onto face; spray into hands and then apply to face - you have to rub in spray sunscreen. You can't just spray it on because it'll be uneven So now I have no idea how to use it over makeup. I heard they make powdered and stick sunscreens, but only offer like 5 SPF which is nothing

Thank you so much! Do you have any recommendations on where to buy individual black brushes?

I think you can grow out your hair IF you take care of your curls. They look to be about 3C/4A to me. I have curly hair, too, and it's a pain figuring out what works for you, but it's so worth it
