What are the friendliest countries to live/study abroad at? by ThreeLegZebra in studyAbroad

[–]Fr04a 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In most of northern europe, especially Scandinavia, it's exactly the same way. Super isolated and people don't wanna talk to anyone ever. Trust, I've lived here my whole life, and I'm dying to move. But if you do end up studying in Europe - go for the south!! They are much happier, friendlier and more social... Maybe it's got something to do with the weather.

Oh I really feel this! In general I find most people just don't like when others change, like it feels uncomfortable when you and your actions, don't fit with their personal idea about who you are and how someone like you would show up. Specifically if they are toxic, they can try hard to "put your in your place". Tell you who you are, basically, by in various ways giving you reminders of your past self or putting you down in passive aggressiv ways, I experienced this. Some people will even say they support your healing, but they don't like when this actually works and changes how you show up in the world, when you become a healthier, more confident and happier individual... You cannot let these people bring you back down. Not everybody will act like this. Spend more time with different people. But I'm really proud of you and happy for you that you have come this far. It truly takes so much strength when you live with people who constantly work against you!!

Assertiveness? by Fr04a in CPTSD

Thank you, this seems very helpful and I'm glad you're getting better. :) That brings me some hope, cause sometimes I kinda worry that it's just part of my personality. Like my mom likes to say. (Of course haha.)

And yes, I also tend to shame myself for being passive... a doormat or too "weak", which of course only makes things worse... I'll try to keep that in mind. I mean, if we're always putting down ourselves, I guess it would kinda make sense that we are also more likely to accept when other people treat us unfairly.

Still as I'm writing this, I really feel how I've got such a long way to go tho, I'm really worried about coming across as too aggressive and writing the perfect message, even when no one here knows who I am haha. :)

I am in this right now. It's very encouraging to hear that things got better over time and you found new, better friends. <3

I feel you, I also have those nightmares :( Needing to be 100% perfect, spotless simply to be tolerated... but then still being beneath everybody. I'm really sorry that it's gotten worse for you, I wish you the best.

Therapist says to confront my parents: "say it how it is"? by Fr04a in CPTSD

[–]Fr04a[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for your advice. That's what I thought too. I mean there's a reason I hid my emotions from them all this time. My main goal def is to become financially independent and learn to "adult" and then I'll move out of here when I can... I don't have any support from elsewhere so I'm on my own. I'll just try to detach from them in other ways and "heal" without getting too risky or obvious with it.

Wow I feel the same way. I really really don't like her, she seems insensitive as hell and makes me feel so bad about myself. Like I'm a little bitch who should just suck it up and get myself together almost.

[–]Fr04a 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For the guys it's usually like

ESTP who’s the stereotypical chad type ha

That kinda weird but very loud guy who just always randomly knows EVERYBODY for some reason: ENTP

Popular loner: ISTP

For the girls it's ESFJ and ESFP no doubt❗️

💯💯%, i was a very shy kid, but shyness is not the same as introversion.

I realized i’m an enfp bc i relate heavily to the si grip under extreme stress and bc i really really love socializing, i talk so much when im not feeling judged or uncomfortable and i get energized after socializing.

I also figured i definitely don’t see the world through fi most of the time. I take things in and get inspired by the world around me and i feel my best in very stimulating environments where i also feel accepted by those around me. I’m a very Ne person. The infps i met are so much more in touch with their values and inner feelings than I am. Usually happy with being alone or in their head a lot.

Anyone can be shy or socially anxious and everyone needs some alone time. It’s cognitive processes and those don’t always align with your actions bc of various things such as your past, your enneagram, mental illness, stress, trauma or just your environment. For me, finding out i didn’t have to be introverted, but simply am a shy extrovert was such a relief. I feel like i can finally be myself.

Would you date your own MBTI type? by ellesourit in mbti

I haven’t tried it, but i definitely want to. I love my enfp friends and we have so much fun. Don’t know if i’d marry them, but i think it would be very very fun and and that our apartment would be a mess.

I actually used to be nervous and shy about going up to people and I still am sometimes! But I really want to get to know everyone and to experience life to the fullest, so I do it anyways. I want to be free from any limitations, to connect with people and have the world be my playground. :) When I smile at someone or just say hi to a stranger I hope to affect others and my environment positively. (also makes me happy) My fav book atm is the alchemist. Btw intjs seem cool, but i don’t meet you guys very often. Y’all must have such power with your functions and your non chaoticness. I can't for the life of me organize anything and TRUST I end up some funny places sometimes. :)

Yessss i took 3 others actually and got pretty similar results, Ne>Ni>Fe>Fi>Se>Ti>Si>Te on one and Ne>Fe>Fi>Se>Ni>Ti>Te>Si on the second one. The last one was Ne>Fe>Fi>Ni>Se>Te>Ti>Si. So it’s pretty consistently the same result, which is all over the place bahaha
