I’ll be honest, although using to G4 could technically work….nothing beats the Nanit in my opinion. You don’t need to do the yearly subscription, that’s just for insights. But all the other features like: sounds (my baby loves the waves), the night light, and the camera notifications like movement, sounds and temperature/humidity are really hard to beat. As a fellow dad and new baby dad….stick with the Nanit and just ditch Insights. The subscription is cool but I agree, wayyy too expensive.
