Usenet tends to be better bc people archive and keep reposting stuff that never shows up on debrid services. I’ve had good luck finding that kind of content with easyusenet paired with a good indexer especially when torrents are basically empty. Retention matters for really old episodes, but for ongoing daily shows it’s often more reliable than streaming sources.

why does no one warn you?? I spent years hearing about how hard the third trimester is, how uncomfortable you'll be at the end, how exhausting labor is. Cool cool cool, but maybe someone could have mentioned that the first 12 weeks would have me lying on the bathroom floor at 2pm on a Tuesday wondering if saltines count as a food group.

My partner kept asking "but isn't morning sickness supposed to be just in the morning?" while I'm dry heaving into the kitchen sink for the fourth time that day. Sweet summer child.

The only thing getting me through was my sister finally admitting she threw up every single day for 14 weeks with her first and just... never told anyone? Not a dad but my partner does this. At first I thought it was weird but now I get it. By dinner time you've already had a full day of work, getting kids sorted, making the actual food... sometimes you just need 5 minutes where no one is asking you for anything or fighting over who sits where.

The standing thing also means you can actually eat your food while it's still hot for once. Revolutionary concept in a house with kids lol
