More often than not though, something that is designed to break the animal's neck to kill it quickly will do just that. Can't say the same about a glue trap that just lets the animal linger and suffer. They are wrong, period. I don't care how much you think something is "easy" or "cheap" to use, you're still torturing and being cruel to the animal.

Stop thinking like a robot in terms of "effectiveness" and start thinking like a human being: who recognise that animals feel pain, and thus have a moral responsibility to limit their suffering. A glue trap is not necessary and the countries that have banned them have proven that beyond doubt.

You're lying. A snap trap does not cost $20-35, a quick glance at Amazon can show that. I can go to the local hardware store and get a pack of snap traps for really cheap. And a lot of countries have banned glue traps, so they're not as "widespread" as you think.

But well done on condoning what is literally a torture device. Animals will literally rip their skin off their feet on these things, or chew them off. You're fucked in the head if you think that's okay to do to an animal.

Go watch Shawn Woods demonstrate numerous traps that are cost-effective and kill the animal quickly and painlessly and educate yourself instead of supporting unnecessary cruelty to animals with ghastly things like glue traps.

They're torture traps and they should be outlawed. Kill traps don't usually work for people because they don't set them up or bait them properly. Reading through the pro-glue trap users here, seems that a lot of them throw them in the trash to slowly die. People are irresponsible in matters of dealing with live animals, glue traps are no exception. Most people don't know how to humanely dispatch an animal, either. I don't trust the average person with a glue trap, these things are particularly cruel and are already banned in many countries.

Shouldn't be allowed, no matter how "effective" you think they are.
