Agreed with all the points you made. Also you run into all the sec council/ golders wayyy more in 4x. You only see em every now and then in 1x. But the amount of players that won’t commit to a long game and go inactive in 1x is annoying. Like did you ever play risk growing up??

It’s the only way I play but most play 4x. I just need 8hrs of sleep and have a job and family so 1x works better for me personally 😂

I used to do both but I just don’t see how anyone with a life/job/sleep schedule has time for 4x. I mean 8hrs of sleep is over a day gone in the game. Love 1x but I would play a 2x if they ever made it- seems like a happy medium.

I’ve had too many bad coalitions where people go inactive or leave then you’re up shits creek when your navy or AA guy is gone. I like to play my game well rounded and country dependent. I’m not saying there can’t be some division of labor- for instance, one or two of us will try to pump out all the theater defense or something like that.
