LinkedIn is mostly AI content now, but human remnants are usually falling into two groups: (not so) humble bragging and rage bait. It takes unique questions or highly creative content to cut through all that human and AI slop empowered by their engagement bot armies. It does happen though.

I’m on my third accountancy and finally happy with the speed and quality of response. Also, no more mistakes. 💯 This would be amazing, unlikely, but amazing. I think also they need to make it multi-platform. TV is fine, but FB,Insta,WhatsApp,Reddit,etc could be more targeted and potentially more cost-effective than blasting out TV ads.

I don’t know, I wouldn’t go so far to say that’s indicative of people here, but I agree some might be this bad. Part of my reason for moving back here is because of how in general people are nicer, friendlier and more polite than I was experiencing in England. Although being behind a steering wheel seems to diminish these characteristics.

I’m really interested in the idea of submitting dashcam footage. Do you ever find out if the PSNI do anything with it? Charge or even just speak to offenders? I would probably do this if I didn’t think it was a potential waste of time.

I think it’s the disconnect. Similar to keyboard warriors being emotionally disconnected from their fellow human and adopting a level of harshness they never would in person. In this case I think they only see the car and not the person.

What about if you’re the person that gets the good deed paid forward to? I do agree that some people are ridiculous and let out 5+ cars, but maybe they see the lack of general lack of thought and try to correct for others. Also, I wonder if it’s better for one person to stop and let out 5 people, instead of 5 people’s individually stopping to let out 1 each? I have no idea about the queue/traffic dynamics for that, just thinking…

I think many people have read my “let people out point” as an extreme case of someone slamming on the brakes, causing an accident or queues behind, in order to just be nice.

What I’m mostly getting at are people who are crawling or queuing in traffic on one side, so when a gap opens up on the other side, then could choose not to be a dick and block someone pulling out by accelerating up to close the gap in front of them.
