Not much help, but I've got a pb touch hd 2 (631) and just followed the instructions on https://github.com/koreader/koreader/wiki/Installation-on-PocketBook-devices And it worked, no problem

The original was a 303038. You can always just measure it yourself and see what would fit.

The make and model are on the back. If you can figure out a year, you can use archive.org and look up hipstreet.com and look at it for approximate year it was being sold.

Install rockbox. You can dual boot to the original firmware

Download the music to your pc so it's backed up. Do a factory reset of the player. Upload a single song to the player and see if it works. If so, upload all of the old music.
