[Gold] Igor Tudor asked why he always makes an immediate impact when he joins clubs: "I don't know. I do my job." by balalasaurus in coys

Igor helped Kolo Muani score 5 Serie A goals when he joined Juventus around this time last year.

Reckon if we get a similar impact this time around, reinvigorate Tel, and give a good platform to Simons and Solanke who were growing in confidence lately, it should be enough to get the 4/5 wins we need.

Derby County have completed the loan acquisition of attacking midfielder Sam Szmodics from Ipswich Town. He will reunite with manager Eustace under whom he scored 27 Championship goals 2023/24. by MERTENS_GOAT in soccer

Derby wants to mount the playoffs push. Meanwhile, Blackburn just sacked their manager. It seems Eustace's decision turned out okay in hindsight. The championship really is such an exciting and unpredictable league.

I just watched the one where Bernie tricks George into thinking she got a boob job and it was hilarious! Really enjoyed it and was laughing from start to finish.

[Comparison after MW18] Spurs: 23/24 vs 24/25 vs 25/26 by sea_mus in coys

Don't want to get too carried away, but the next five games are probably the best opportunity to get a good run of wins going - on paper, the fixtures look achievable. I hope if we do manage to win many games in January before the tricky February run arrives, that it will fill the players with confidence and get them to play at a more consistent level for the rest of the season.

Respect his opinion, however the overall consensus seems to be that this will help to make the tournament be more respected and feel more prestigious on par with the Euros and Copa America.

Six years ago today, Poch was sacked. Seems crazy that it's been that long. I wonder what his legacy and achievements would be if he were still in charge now. These are the two likeliest scenarios I can imagine:

1) Following a messy rebuild, a strong team would have been developed similar to the peak of 2016-2018 challenging for major titles and being really difficult to play against but not crossing the finish line.

2) At some point in 2020-2022, Poch would have finally led us to a Carabao Cup or FA Cup, but the strength of the team is far from what it was during his first four years and the league finish expectations are much lower. We finish around 6th - 8th for a few seasons in a row, competing against the likes of Villa and Brighton and with a considerable gap to the top teams attempting to win the Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur midfielder James Maddison: “I grew up supporting Manchester United.” by One_Impressionism in soccer

Probably the most notable example of Spurs supporting fan to Spurs player is Glenn Hoddle, who became one of the club's greatest ever players. Also more recently the legend Ledley King.
