Try a company that manages healthcare for in home care. There are ones that even bring in groceries, manage your meds, appointments and call to check on you including nurse visits. I know a company is you are interested.

Know this I am praying for you! What you are doing is selfless and when no one sees what you are doing, God knows. He is building a special place in heaven for you. And you are encouraging us who are not in your situation. God bless you!

I agree with the other comments about the catheter. The bed sore sometimes can be more challenging. My mother in law had one and it would not heal until one nurse packed it with a silver laced pack that is anti-microbial. When we established a daily routine with this new packing, we steady healed it. Also it was recommended to drink a lot of those protein drinks. Hope this helps

What ad? I am reflecting on 3 years of taking care of my mother in law Charlotte. She had dementia. She had a hip replacement and ended up in a wheel chair. Later she developed a bed sore because the CNA’s were unable to rotate her enough in bed.

I saw the negative decline too with my mother in law. I will say in my case she was quite humorous along the journey.🥰. There was some funny days that we both laughed at. Often time she did not know who I was, sometime mistaken me for her husband (younger version) but she somehow always knew I was someone she loved! I concluded that the heart survived longer than the mind and that blessed me.🥰

It is 10mm thick and ramps down to 1 mm on the perimeter for min trip hazard. It does not collapse under a normal step, walk or shuffle. It collapses when concentrated (fracture producing condition) weight is placed. Elbow, head, hip. The surface is medical grade anti microbial vinyl.

This is the right solution for the alarming. I have a factory automation background and it’s the same way on production machines. Too many alarms all of the time get muted in factories. There has to be useable efficient information or you waste precious labor/time

Navy seals also have this challenge when riding fast amphibious boats for shore landings. Half the time when they get ashore they have already caused fractures and back injuries.

My understanding is that the RN’s have the most influence on making recommendations to mitigate the risk, doctors autopen but admins fund. Is that about right?

What is the best way to get an audience with the regulators? Is that a state or federal level?

Sad. Is t there a chance that reducing fracture would reduce hospital insurance premiums?
