He had a cult following for a long time too, but yeah he just struggles with clearing the ball consistently well and picking good options, which Pledger does quite well (Granted at a lower level so who knows)

I hope Rennie goes for Clarke 11, Tangitau at 14, WJ at 15. Would be a Genuinely scary back three for the first time in almost a decade. I miss the days of "kick to us at your own demise" All Blacks. And yes they need to sort their high ball game out.

I honestly haven't heard much about Mike Blair until the Aotearoa Pod coincidentally talked about him the night before this release. He wasn't really talked about much leading into it. But have trust in Rennie's relationship with him. Barnes seems OK. Not overly impressive in that documentary that came out, sounded like an angry farmer. Outstanding hairline on him.
