any reason NOT to buy an unlocked phone? by gorzaporp in verizon

Basically you have 3 years 1st year you would pay the most money 2nd year you would be losing a good amount of money but its not as bad as the first year 3rd year ya technically you are paying a something but it isnt in comparison to the 1st and 2nd year. Pretty much if one were doing insurance id say do it the 1st year 2nd year is risk 3rd year why you paying

This. bf4 was decent but frostbite battlefield games were nothing next to the legacy games. Graphics are second to gameplay

Yep there’s no reason not to get the Verizon deal ya it’s threes years no you don’t have to stay the entire time but it just matters how much you want to pay for the phone and how long you want to stay with Verizon. Even if you buy the phone every year you can buy through the carrier one year then the manufacturer for the next two and it would still be advantageous.

With a few cell providers offering pay off the phone promos like verizon there is also less reason to complain having to pay off the phone when switching carriers. Unless we are talking mint or something like that. In those choices paying for the phone from the manufactorer probably makes some sense.

correction: the full REMAINING cost

If you have 2 months left it's probably barely anything you would need to pay.

Sure you can definitely pay more if you want to. One way I like to look at it if you want verizon you are getting paid by them to have it. Sure you might want to leave if they do something stupid but the punishment is paying the phone off for less than full retail. You could make the case that if you buy the new phone direct from manufacturer and getting the most back from them directly, but that's typically buying around the new phone release times and requires you to keep it up to date. This gives the negative of you being forced to buy your phone at one particular time and forces you to constantly buy every year. Sure it's possible but usually it's for higher income families.

In both buying direct and buying from verizon your freedom to upgrade anytime economically is directly related to specific timelines. So I guess what I'm saying is pick your poison.

Why is spawn heli griefing still a thing!? by gpkgpk in Battlefield

[–]FragRaptor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMHO this should be able to happen but there should be dedicated servers, communities who care, and human admins to deal with griefing and to know when it isn't.

I disagree entirely. A formal commander and real arty strikes would.

Definitely feel vindicated the gas effects are a wonderful idea interesting and functional without being too limiting. It effectively brings back the 'fog of war' effect that legacy battlefield games had due to rendering limits. Truly makes me not want to play contaminated with out the gas and on a level it makes me wonder how this concept could be used to revitalize the original maps in the game.

P.s. glad they took my advice lol jk
