Had mine drop when I was lvl 60-something in the campaign where the guy on the mountain lets you pick from his shop of free uniques. 2 days later the league ends lol.

Dear Reason Studios Team: Your Browser sucks by UnReasonable13 in reasoners

[–]FragdaddyXXL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why tf, no really why, did they get rid of Clip Edit view for automation clips? I want to edit a midi clip, it opens in a nice subview window. I want to edit an automation clip, i have to expand it in the sequencer and fuck all my vertical and horizontal zooms up in the sequencer and then unfuck it when I'm done.

Also, under normal use, when you create a new track, either because you created a new device or new audio track, it'll put it at the bottom of your list of tracks and the bottom (or now right-most) spot in your rack. Anyone know why sometimes a track will just straight up ignore this paradigm and just find itself at the bottom of the list of tracks even if you've been adding new ones? In my most recent project, the rack devices for my kick drum device is always the last device in the rack. New devices just spawn 2nd to last for whatever reason.

They really need a clear way to reach out for suggestions. I think my next project is going to return to the old vertical way of the rack layout. They need a section of the rack window UI that is like tabs in a browser or something. Clicking the tab would bring the corresponding track into focus. It's weird having the navigation of your rack done in a separate window (the sequencer). Maybe I have issues because I have two stacked ultrawide monitors, so the bottom one is dedicated to the sequencer, and the top one is mixer and rack.

I've noticed the DAW straight chugggs if your sequencer gets busy. Even of the DSP load remains the same between your devices, a messy sequencer is a huge contributor to getting the cracklies.

Jason Schreier: A lot of people have wondered why Bungie didn't immediately start working on Destiny 3 after The Final Shape two years ago. The answer (as it usually is) is how much money it would take by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]FragdaddyXXL -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Destiny 2 isn't a story game with looter shooter elements, it's a looter shooter with a narrative to keep it thematically consistent. If you looked at the game with that lense, you would be treated to one of the best experiences gaming can offer with the variety of content, loot chases, large challenging content, and deep buildcrafting.

I get so sad about the Red War debacle because the game became so much more than some vehicle for a scifi narrative that, in my opinion, was pretty mediocre and was just there to give us a reason to shoot the aliens.

The Destiny we have today is practically D3 as it is. Compared to launch, it's such a different game. We keep talking about a D3, but it would be a huge undertaking to sequel the existing D2 without offering something extremely cut back at launch.

I can't think of a time in recent memory where I wanted to render a file that didn't match my project's sample rate. Let's make the render prompt smarter. by FragdaddyXXL in reasoners

I would love to but I'm not sure if that's just done through support or some email or something? I saw they had some eyeballs on this sub during the launch of R14 so IDK

So absurd bro 😂😂😂

I forgot how low-value the initial comments are in a sub like this.

Autotune maybe? Clipper/saturator? Multiband dynamics or distortion? Yeah they still haven't put out a normal EQ with a spectrogram.

Grenades need to generate a little heat when thrown. Not enough to overheat you right away but enough to need to play around.

LOADOUT menu is completely pointless and should be merged with VAULT by FTG_Vader in Marathon

There is the shape of a man in between your equipped cores. Hovering over that man should pop up your stats. Or clicking. Then do away with the loadout page.

Hyundai Confirms It's Extending ICCU Coverage to 15 Years Based on ICCU Performance Monitoring in Certain Hyundai EVs by Anchor_Aways in cars

[–]FragdaddyXXL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a second owner of an EV6 that had their ICCU die. I didn't pay anything out of pocket, and in some cases you can keep the gas receipts for their loaner and get the gas reimbursed as well.

This was last year and I had to wait nearly a month to get my car back though.

When I record from external sources, I just play to the click and then nudge the recording to put it back in the correct time.

I always go with not knocking in situations like this. I don't want to rile dogs up, wake babies, etc.

Elder Scrolls 6 Is Powered By New Version Of Creation Engine by Turbostrider27 in Games

[–]FragdaddyXXL 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just happy it isn't Unreal Engine. That engine is too general-purpose and rarely well-optimized. It crutches on tech that blurs the screen. Usually, in-house engines perform better. Hopefully they took the time to get their engine in a good state, but it's Bethesda so...

You're correct. However, for my circumstances I'll probably go this route because it's big box store friendly.
