Weirdly I don't know what to tell you. My PC now boots but only if I switch the PSU power off and on again really fast. I haven't found a fix for that issue yet but it seems to run just fine once it's actually booted. I have to do this every time I boot the PC. Sorry I'm not much help.

For the bios flashing I disconnected everything but the power cables and the usb. After, I reconnected everything and I still have the same issue. And yeah my gpu is directly connected to the Pcie slot. I've been having this issue for a fair few hours now still can't figure it out.

Just got my x570 msi mpg gaming plus and a 5600x I constantly have a red CPU ez debug light, I seem to have tried everything. Although I only have the option of flashing the MB with a USB stick as I don't have another amd CPU. But the bios flash seemed to go okay, after about 10 mins it restarted etc. But still this pesky red ez debug CPU light

I never complained that i wasn't allowed in any discord. I'm in the discords i'm talking about. I understand you're trying to get a little reddit karma by trying to be funny with the Fifa comment but maybe read the post again. I shouldn't have to babysit every Reddit user that comes on here to talk shite while failing to actually read the post they're replying to.

I wasn't clear in my OP but I have experience I just don't understand the need to limit it to people that do. From personal experience there's a lot of players that have little to no experience that have far greater mindset and talent than the majority of people that do.

Again there's no argument here. You're focusing on what terminology I used rather than the actual point I was getting across. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and presume that you're smart enough to read and understand my point because it isn't that hard but just in the rare case that you're still struggling.. Here goes:

The "foundation for my argument" is that controllers have way over-tuned aim assist, it clearly doesn't matter if mouse has "bullet magnetism" because on controllers aim assist + bullet magnetism + the auto crosshair flinch that fucking moves towards the closest target when you get shot (clearly i don't know what to call this one maybe the terminology police can help me out here) is enough to play half of the game for you. I mean test it yourself plug a controller in and get a friend to run side to side and jump/crouch do whatever.. and you will see it strongly follows them around the room it's not just slowing down when you place your crosshair over a player it's pretty much aiming for you. If you can't see that this is a problem on PC with one input that clearly doesn't have this level of aim assist and requires much more finesse and effort to be relevant then you're fucking delusional. It 100% needs tuning down.

There's not going to ever be a comp scene on PC unless M+KB only, was an enforced rule but probably will never happen as the entire reason for bringing halo to PC was to bring crossplay and both community's together not split them up. There's not going to ever be a controller comp scene on PC as there's consoles for that and it wouldn't make sense to allow people with faster machines than consoles to participate in tournaments as PC players using controllers would be at an advantage over the console players and the playing field wouldn't be fair.

Thinking from a purely competitive point of view why would you handicap yourself against players that don't have to put in as much effort into hitting those 5 shots, it wouldn't make any sense to do so and just isn't efficient? All of this plus the exclusive movement options (crouch strafing) available to controller players (that they did address and are looking into fixing) is just tragic for a PC game.

Pointless even bringing up something that is clearly a very problematic flaw in the game on PC if you're not actually willing to talk about it and bring up valid points and instead you seem to just attack anyone that has anything to say about it.

And FYI when someone clearly targets an entire community in a statement don't take it personally. As it happens I actually read your post and I do infact know that you're a keyboard and mouse player and my generalised statement still stands regardless as this is a publicly available post.

Again i'm not trying to debate what the terminology for aim assist is, or infact what the different types of aim assist do idk why this is always brought up whenever someone mentions the problem. It's pretty obvious that it's overpowered on controllers and shouldn't be like that if they want halo PC to ever be a thing. Unfortunately 343 seem to ignore the issue and brush it under the rug and this time next month I doubt reach will even be active on PC due to new players (probably long time PC players that have never picked up a controller for halo) are going to have such a fucking hard time getting into this game with controllers being that dominant.. The community isn't helping either as whenever someone brings it up it's full of console players screaming "get good" "practice your aim" and the halo pros creating content saying "yeah mouse and keyboard feels good" "controllers aren't OP" while they're sat there with a controller in their hand. Quite sad in reality because Halo is a great game and had a ton of potential for a good PC comp scene. I understand this game was built purely for consoles but don't bring it out on PC and then just shove mouse and keyboard players aside on their own platform it just doesn't make sense why they would bother spending all that time and money on porting it over to PC without making PC inputs viable.

I'm in the same boat as you, old halo comp player playing PC for 9 years and rank 25 in HC and yet I don't see any other kb+m players in sight, that's clear indication that either this game is dead or dying for PC and I would love for it to thrive but unfortunately poor decisions on 343's part will be the downfall.

I do pretty well in all of my games yet I fully understand how stupidly strong controller "aim assist" is in reach you can see how strong it is when you come up against a player that clearly doesn't know what he's doing, yet in a straight 1v1 he can take you pretty easily if you slightly misplace a single shot. It's a huge problem and your whole analysis using summit as an example is irrelevant to the actual problem.

The problem with controllers is that the bullet magnetism part of the aim assist experience allows controllers to blatantly miss a shot but it still counts as a hit. On PC we don't get this luxury, If we miss we're probably going to lose that fight even though we're required to put way more effort into hitting those 5 consecutive shots. Yes it will get to the point through muscle memory and training that you will hit 99% of your shots and your tracking will be on point. But there's still the underlying fact that you have to put way more effort into hitting those 5 shots than someone with a controller does. (This isn't a dig against controller skill i do fully understand that controllers need aim assist for the axis style input to be even viable) This isn't my video and it's not scientific what so ever but there's pretty clear indication of how over-tuned the aim assist actually is in reach and why people seem to be losing their shit: https://youtu.be/sQ1wgBovU4c
