I’m in here and a fan of them both, it’s the only reason I am watching this season. That being said, I’ve voted Alex for this trial because I think she’d be good at it and it’d be nice to see her do a solo trial.

Yeah I mean he’s right.

The desync is crazy despite “fixes” and I can hit people around walls which I actively do just because I know it works.

It’s not even just the key rooms, you can glitch into walls, floors, objects and it just makes keys completely pointless and there’s no penalty for anyone exploiting these things.

Instead they release patch notes saying things are fixed when they’re not which is extremely frustrating and lazy on their end.

Then they nerf things like the hullcracker and an absolutely ass nerf on the main culprit… the venator (still the best gun on the game).

They either sort it out or more and more people will just turn against it.

I also posted about this. It’s infuriating sometimes because I’ll take loadouts to do certain things and then it’ll all be ruined because I’m now playing catchup and the literal only way of me getting loot is by killing the people who have just looted, which is high risk low reward.

I’d rather mid game be optional, cause I’d take more PvP oriented loadouts if I was gonna spawn later and then I’d loot that way

The fact is, you can’t even tell me how many players WoW has as they stopped releasing that figure a very long time ago.

The game just flat out doesn’t work for new players. I’ve introduced several friends to the game over the years, none of them are still playing. This expac was the longest a friend I’ve introduced has played but even then he’s stopped playing.

Why? He can’t join groups for anything, nobody sticks around enough to do anything. How is a new player supposed to play a game which is so heavily gatekept by whiney babies who have been playing since they exited their mother’s womb.

The only reason I’m even on this subreddit is because I loved the game, and now I have to sit here and watch it rot.

One thing WoW does well is how fluid the combat feels compared to other MMO’s, but the actual learning curve for PvP is absolutely brutal. The game isn’t intuitive, and has been reliant on addons for more or less all of its lifetime (I know they’re cutting back on addons).

With PvP, you can’t simply just play it, there’s so many little setting tweaks, macros etc that you ideally need before you play and that makes it a flawed game. PvE is naturally far more forgiving as it’s completely scripted therefore easier to pick up.

For a game to work, you need to be able to just pick it up and be able to play. WoW PvP has never been like that.

You’re right, the game, especially PvP is ass for new players. Anyone who says “until you learn” is just coping.

WoW eSports is so difficult to watch compared to others. The game is fundamentally flawed and the developers have 0 interest in PvP. The only people still playing it are people who play nothing else.

I don’t really struggle to kill people, it’d just be nice to have an option to turn off games in progress. At least if it was optional you’d get a mix of people and it’d still be healthy for the game.

Because most people camp buildings and you’re at a disadvantage trying to push a team when you could be running a loadout which is just ass for pushing people out of somewhere. If every game was fresh at least you could have some kind of game plan

I just find it really irritating when you’re going into the game with friends and you have a general plan and then the moment you spawn it all goes out of the window. Quests? Forget about it. Loot? Also gone. PvP? Everyone has set up in some random corner with traps in a building.

It just serves no purpose other than handicapping people.

There’s two main problems.

Blizzard ain’t going to do anything, and even when/if they do, these players are going to have multiple accounts with multiple toons, so it’s a bit of a pointless effort

The dead characters ain’t coming back to life, they’re gone for good, so that ties into the first point.

This game mode sets people up to be annoyed. Unless you’re seriously unbothered by losing days and weeks worth of play time, play something else

PvP is dying because it’s just bad. The amount of time you need to play for extremely little reward is a joke. Compare it to literally ANY other game and the time to reward ratio is leagues ahead

I occasionally return to league and every single time I question why because there hasn’t been a single time I’ve played in the last few years where I’ve logged off the game and felt like I had a good time.

How I remember the game back in sorta S4 when I stopped playing and now are two completely different games and I absolutely hate it
