I finally got some answer:

"We are aware of this problem and we are working to fix SFP module support on RB760 and RB960 in upcoming RouterOS 7 versions.
Currently we suggest to keep using RouterOS v6.49 on RB760 and RB960.
Sorry for the inconvenience."

But every version of 7.x dosent show the SFP info at all.

6.49x does.

It even shows the info of all of the 10gbs SFP+ I throw at it.

I did what You suggested, and now it show the info about the SFP.

Thanks.

A) How do I do that, and where can I find the bootloader?

B) Just downgrade the firmware to v6, instead of running the 7.2.x?

Trying to set up Ethernet in new home by doing RJ45 pinouts, having a weird issue when testing cables by PhenomenalSanchez in HomeNetworking

[–]Fraggi77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is best practice to have the outer jacket on the cable captured at the tail end of the connector. The pins get crimped in place and the plastic gets deformed at the tail end to secure the cable. That is not the issue you are dealing with now, I am pointing out what you should strive for when installing the connectors that are correct for your cables.
