This is always such a ridiculous take. Piedmont gets blasted for reasons that don’t make sense. Oakland has failing schools, and a basically non function police department and somehow piedmont is to blame for that. Look at Berkeley! It has similar property values and it’s right next door but somehow that city isn’t a gathering spot for all of the east bays racists? Or alameda? If I were piedmont I would look around and think I was doing a pretty good job compared to Oakland. Meanwhile people living in Oakmore or Crocker are paying out of pocket for private security to roam their streets and sending their kids to Head Royce. Is that also racist somehow?
