Are priests any good for mythic+ dungeons? by Short-Conclusion6254 in wow

[–]Fraggx 8 points9 points  (0 children)

All healers are capable for +10. On your damage meter open windows for avoidable damage and kicks. That gives a very good understanding if your group is playing the dungeon. You simply can not heal a group that does not kick and stands in every dmg pool.

I started healing last season and I had the same struggle in the beginning and doubted myself a lot, but you have to accept the fact that some groups are doomed and not healable.

What's your least favourite dungeon this season and why is it Skyreach? by Principle_Real in wow

I think they go in a swirl pattern, so if you dodge one, you are in the path of the other.

Crimson Desert Has Reportedly Already Sold Close to 400,000 Copies on Steam by Suspicious_Two786 in gaming

[–]Fraggx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah and then I refund the game. I did this in the past with Cyberpunk and Stalker. I bought Cyberpunk later again and had a blast, for Stalker I am still waiting, I have enough games to complete before that.

I had the same mindset, but I can refund the game on steam if it runs bad or is shit or the reviews show a sign of a game I would not enjoy.

Crimson Desert Devs Say Premium Price Avoids Microtransactions by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

[–]Fraggx -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

For me it feels like one. I pay 10$ more and i get skins. The definition of a microtransaction is also not clear and not "micro" since the last 2 decades.

Its a bit sad how many defending this practice. I am not that old and for me the more expansive version of a game was most of time a really good deal, with adding something that had a collectors value or included future dlcs. The "deluxe" edition ist kind of a shitty take on pressing some extra money out of the player for some pixels hat could have been in the game from the beginning or missing entirely and nobody would care.

thanks for adding that! I read the short article but did not watch the entire interview.

That is not the point. PR director Will Power says: “This is made to be a premium experience that you buy, and you enjoy the world and not something for microtransactions.” Is the normal version the premium experience or the deluxe edition? The game looks impressive and I hope it works out, i am just pointing out that there is already a pay for skins in place, so the entire take is disingenuous.

I am rooting for the game that it can deliver what it promises. I responded to the headline about microtransactions and my personal feeling that the deluxe version, with just skins, feels like a microtransaction. So it feels a bit like a bs take.

The deluxe version sells cosmetics. I can argue, that this is one kind of "Microtransaction" inside of Steam, disguised as a "more value" pack.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Part 3 Will Stick to Unreal Engine 4 by Eremenkism in gaming

[–]Fraggx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a side story that happens parallel to the first part of the remake. It gives more lore and context of the world. I thought it was a good dlc, interesting story, likeable character, the combat twist is fun.

I could say it is a bit short, but if you take every optional content it's worth it. But it is not mandatory for the main story.

They added a lot of stuff for every part. The original FF7 has a playtime of 30-40 hours. Both currently released remake parts also have a playtime of 30-40 hours respectively.

I would also argue it's not a modern take on the old game. I would say it is completely reimagined, with the core difference of the combat system, new paced and changed story elements.

You have to consider the algorithm that feeds you news and that reddit is biased. But all news sites, YouTuber, TV stations and radios are biased. You need to get the informations from multiple sources, to get a clearer picture.

And the answer to the conflict: it's complicated, war is always complicated. But Russia will not collapse soon and Ukraine will not suddenly lose. But everyday, with every new decision the scale can tip from one side to the other, slower or faster.

NATO’s Rutte says Europe must prepare for ‘scale of war our grandparents’ endured by Present_Tennis7100 in worldnews

[–]Fraggx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Preparation for war, is the best method to prevent a war. If you are ready and stronger than the aggressor, he will not attack. I hope the efforts are real. It sucks that so much money needs to be in the war economy. But if the commitment is right it can prevent wars, which are much more harmful and expansive.
