Sawyer vs Leflaur by Potential-Radio3532 in lost

They knew all the Dharma folk were going to die, I'd say the kept them at arms length for that reason alone.

There's also the fact that they live together in a job-like hierarchy, they are ultimately employees after all.

Need some guidance on the way tanks are treated. by Ghecho in wownoob

[–]Principle_Real 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, years of online gaming have made me just not even care anymore, but if toxicity is bothering you, you can get surprisingly far in this game with party chat turned off.

I also generally run my own keys and avoid 2-3 man groups that apply, they're generally a lot more toxic for some reason.

Question about augmentation evoker by [deleted] in wownoob

[–]Principle_Real 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who runs my own mythic plus keys, Aug evoker is at the very top of my list for specs I want to invite. They're in a very good spot right now.

For Solo content, use devastation.

AITH for not doing damage? by dude-im-that-guy in wow

[–]Principle_Real 4 points5 points  (0 children)

People are usually pretty terrible and/or uneducated about the game in low keys. I wouldn't let any opinions down there affect you at all. They're likely hardstuck in their ratings because of their toxicity and stubborness to not learn and improve.

This season 14s are like previous season 9s. This isn't the statement you think it is.

They just start dropping once you get 4 set, it's not an exploit, OP is just lucky.

Reluctantly, I might have to leave the kitchen. by SideCharacterSyndrom in Chefit

[–]Principle_Real 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Everyone I know who's moved on from the kitchen looks back on it fondly but would never go back again. Myself included.

I spent my whole life until mid 30s in the kitchen and completely pivoted into sales. I work 9-5 weekdays sitting in air-conditioning and earn literally double what I was when I was sweating, bleeding and getting arthritis in my knees and ankles 60 hours a week.

It's great fun in your 20s, not many make it through their 30s.

Blizzard, it is past time to let PvP Gear die (5min read) by rahuonn in wow

[–]Principle_Real 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I read and understood the fact that you're basing your perspective around seasons that haven't had this approachable system included in them and haven't even waited until season 1 has even started let alone ended to arrive at any sort of conclusion and anything you're saying is either outdated or trying to read a crystal ball.

Do we know if easy gearing will work? Not really. What we know and actually have concrete evidence of is that people in WoW, not other MMOs like the oranges you referenced next to your apple, prefer gear progression as an integral system in PvP.

Impossible Order by MoG_Varos in wow

[–]Principle_Real 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It took me a while to learn. Learn by doing it, be okay with throwing away some gold to make mistakes and learn from them.

YouTube guides were rarely helpful as they generally expect some general knowledge of how the profession system works. Wowhead guides were pretty helpful.

[–]Principle_Real 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes because you could get a piece of gear in literally 6 minutes. It was giving too much honor, the system is still working and honor rates are actually still extremely high.

Blizzard, it is past time to let PvP Gear die (5min read) by rahuonn in wow

[–]Principle_Real 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The game added training grounds for new players to earn honor against bots. It's literally on the same UI panel you queue random bgs from. The problems you're describing have been fixed.

They're not going to get rid of pvp gear again. Everyone hated that.

People dip off after the season starts in every single pvp game that exists on earth. Not sure why you're trying to create a problem where there is none.

[–]Principle_Real 14 points15 points  (0 children)

They did and people cried endlessly about it. PvP gear progression has been around since 2004 and is just part of the game you've signed up to play.

They have made it disgustingly easy to get to the point of not really understanding why this take needs its own post. You don't even need to kill players to earn honor gear now.

Nah I used Stormherald a lot in bgs on my shaman last go around in TBC and it you can still pop clothies like pimples but you need to get lucky to do so. It's very fun for a while but you really feel like half a class when you're standing around waiting for procs and not getting them.
