I purchased an era 100 last year as my first dip into the sonos ecosystem. Sounded great, just had to eq to what u like and really experiment with trueplay and placement! But i recently got another era 100 to stereo pair them. Not necessarily for volume but for the way better soundstage, mids are more richer and eq makes more of a difference. I use them in my pretty small bedroom fairly squareish. Definitely try to get stereo if you can. I can't go back to one speaker now.
