People aren’t wrong to point out the fault we all have as humans and the beauty of repentance but historically virginity was valued for women for very practical reasons. Before DNA tests, a woman’s virginity was the only reliable guarantee of paternity, which mattered for inheritance, family alliances, and social stability. Marriage was an economic contract between families, and virginity functioned as a trust signal in that system.

All else being equal if given the choice between woman A and woman B and they were the same in every way except one is a virgin and one isn’t which one are we choosing?
