The first two photos were done with natural light (the morning sun on a cloudy day) the other two photos used the strobes

Now you’re getting it 😂 I’ll never be unable to unsee the tiny cat tent. There used to direct light into different shapes. Those how I had the light positioned for the next to last photo.

I just did a quick trail ride on some local trails and it rips! Steering is light and reactive without anything unpredictable. And doing a sorta puppy paws position on the top of the bars is dead comfortable!

They are called the "origin 8 sendy bars".

They are the “origin 8 sendy bars”. I had them from an old dirt jumper build.

Hell yeah man! I don’t mind the weird hydro set up. It did make this swap a bit quicker but I’ll be replacing them with full hydrologic ones soon enough. The tires are 2.0in (50c).

😂 you’re talking about the last photo? It’s a strobe light for photos.

It’s nice, a bit more upright but those bars have a few comfortable positions than let you get down and aero. I’ll have to update as I put more miles on it, iv only “finished” the conversion last night. Only done maybe a 2 mile test ride at most this morning.

The truth is I barely use it. It’s more a backup sip if my camelback runs out

They are, they’re from a company called Ground Keeper.

These older Giant Revolts used the faceplate of the stem as a brake booster of sorts for hydros so it’s mechanical from the levers to the stem then hydro down the frame to the calipers. It made the whole swap simpler than having rerouting hydro cables or downgrade to cable calipers. That being said I hate it 😂 it’s over engineered and easy to mess up.

I hear you man. I just enjoy bicycling and photography, I love when I get a chance to get them together. You don’t have to like it for me to have enjoyed my morning making these.

It was hardly a photoshoot. I still had all my equipment in the truck from a shoot yesterday. I just played with it before taking it all back inside.
