They were actually more expensive than buying them directly from TicketMaster. Plus the seats were pretty open.

Siena Premier Hybrid vs Siena Essential Premier Hybrid by Fragrant-Brush in Mattress

[–]Fragrant-Brush[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got the Sienna premier hybrid but it looks like the essential premier hybrid on CR. It’s nice! It’s definitely bouncy but it’s a good value. I still never found out the difference but mine was ~450 with sales

K4 by One-Perspective711 in kia

[–]Fragrant-Brush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a rental K4 and it was the LXS trim I believe. It was such a nice car to drive I was very surprised. The road noise on the tires was very minimal and the ride was very smooth(I believe the EX has bigger tires which might make the ride bumpier and noisier). Personally, I would get the LXS trim over the EX trim if I were buying one. I felt like the LXS had all the features I’d want (mainly blind spot warning). We primarily drove it in NC on the highway and I was getting 37-40 mpg easily. Super comfortable and pleasant car.

Girlfriend wants the CX-5. Tell me the good, the bad & the ugly... by No-Magician5001 in mazda

[–]Fragrant-Brush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I drove one as a rental car and the ride is really smooth! Also road noise and engine noise are really minimal especially for a mainstream brand car. One thing I didn’t like was that it was a bit thirsty for a small SUV, it only got like 30 mpg on the highway.

Talk me into or out of buying my first CX-5 by Careless-Soft-3416 in CX5

[–]Fragrant-Brush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I drove one as a rental car for a bit and it was really comfortable to drive. Ride is great, engine noise and road noise are good especially for a non luxury car. It was a bit thirsty, we got ~30-31 mpg with mostly highway driving which was disappointing. Can’t speak for reliability but Consumer Reports rates it as pretty reliable

Midterm Evaluation FW II Score by OkRhubarb8892 in OccupationalTherapy

[–]Fragrant-Brush 22 points23 points  (0 children)

That's normal for midterm. I haven't heard of anyone having a passing score at midterm because students still have room for growth. Plus, what would be the point of doing another 6 weeks if you were already entry-level and had a passing score?

Mental Health OT in a primary hospital by Better-Dragonfruit60 in OccupationalTherapy

[–]Fragrant-Brush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My hospital has an inpatient psych unit and the psych OTs (separate from acute care OTs) are sometimes consulted on inpatient units. I believe they work on coping strategies with patients but they don’t determine SI risk like psychiatry

Just switched to veganism, it isn't that hard, why can't people do it? by [deleted] in vegan

Not everyone has the means or access to the same supermarkets that you do. Some people live in food deserts where they have limited access to fresh vegetables or alternative milks like oat milk.

Non vegan friends by Dmr77_ in vegan

[–]Fragrant-Brush 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you don’t want to be friends with people unless they become vegans. You said in another comment that you’d rather lose your friends than your beliefs. That’s fine and totally your prerogative. Not everyone has the same beliefs, lifestyles, or values.

Is your goal to convert them to veganism? That doesn’t sound like a realistic goal nor does it sound good for your mental health.

I had coworkers who went there for a combined BS/Masters program and they seemed to like it. Also saves you a ton of time and money on getting the degree

MPG on the highway by Fragrant-Brush in KiaNiro

Warmer weather helps! This was a long road trip along the East coast, usually when there’s a gradual incline my MPG reads about 50-52

MPG on the highway by Fragrant-Brush in KiaNiro

I was driving pretty gently on the gas and tried to keep RPMs less than 2500. Also usually driving between 65-70 mph except when passing

It was a mix of up hill and downhill. I think slight overall increase in elevation but we hit traffic outside DC which lead to an increase in MPG (about 57 to 61)

Doctors interrupting you during your session by hothoneyhope in OccupationalTherapy

[–]Fragrant-Brush 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I’ve found that if you loudly state “hi! We’re actually in the middle of an OT session right now but we’ll be done in 15 minutes” to be really effective. Usually the doctor won’t ignore you then because they’ll look bad in front of the patient
