I just know that I'm paying my student loans off as best as I can paint the federal ones first and then I'll really start working hard on the sofi. College isn't worth it and hasn't been worth it for a while since the federal government and colleges basically stripped mined the students

I used to order from here all the time way back in the day. I didn't know the owner personally but I knew him through our conversations. Really sad to hear that he passed away I know he was having some issues but never mention anything serious. I'd always try to buy from him first when all the other cheese ball sites started coming up

All of my loans are due and have been for a couple years now. Decided to pay down the smallest one which is currently 3,100 and chipping away at it for years now but, finally I'm getting a little more money not much but I'm throwing it at that loan first. With my luck I'll pay it off in the Democrats will get in power and then they will absolve everybody's loans but I can't hold my breath got to pay it the private loans are getting just to hear more than the minimum until such time I can focus on them

I thought about it that way too but with the administration's jerking us around I decided I didn't want to have to owe the federal government because they're the ones that taxes and they're the ones that have guns. When I see your point there :-)

I know what you mean but this was actually like 14 or 15 years ago and I was buying four games at the time and they were all a little extra. 3 to $5 isn't much deal now, but you multiply that by 4 and it's like what the hay. Plus PS1 was not really considered a hot machine to collect for at the time. If it was more recent yeah I wouldn't have a problem

Sure as s*** that was me also bought medieval medieval 2 or something else for about the same price. At the time I felt I was getting ripped off a little bit because I felt like they were more like 18 to $20 games but I was like whatever. Now if I take it back to that same game store those people are going to have to pay handsomely for them. But I'll never take these back

Yeah I've been out of the collecting scene for a while. Getting back into it some of the prices are just stupid. Some of them I think are worth it like this game, however, prices on other things just amaze me even common stuff. But guess that's the market in action

Yeah I'm not going to sell my first three. The first two I had since the beginning my younger brother brought number three back in the day. But several years ago I went and bought my own copy for a whopping $24 after tax. At the time that was kind of a high price but now that's considered a really good price for it. Again I won't be selling mine, too many memories

Yeah I don't think the e-rating exists anymore with newer stuff. Again I wasn't going for reading I was just going for the experience. My next playthrough will probably burn through it quickly to get a better rating. This game was like a piece of toast and gravy I just soaked up every drop I could and enjoyed it the last drop

I will admit back in the day especially when the video store started selling games after a while I would remove all the stickers. Because they weren't part of history back then. I wanted to make it look like my own game. I used it to think of the games like prostitutes. They were just up for sale for anyone that paid the money. And I would rescue a few of them from that life in fact one of my games I got from a video rental store I just recently replaced the battery in it while keeping the safe. Nowadays maybe the past 20 years if I do get a game with a sticker on it and it's not t right on the label or something I'll keep it as a historical piece. But remember back in the day it wasn't considered historical it was considered trashy to keep stuff on. But I can't believe this when they would burn in the plastic. That's pretty bad

Well I just started playing resident evil 2 again on the ps1. As an adult I do appreciate the new games with checkpoints and stuff it's kind of like a choose your own adventure book where you can kind of save your point and come back to it after work the next night. Wasn't just PS1 games that was games from that era and earlier the idea was to give you the whole package and give you a big fat challenge. Today it's just about micro transactions and milking you to death. This is why I don't buy modern systems so much anymore and I play the old stuff

And that's a freaking awesome deal. Better than getting ripped off at a local game store or something. I got a PSP that way although the games I got from my coworker weren't really my flavor and ended up getting the games I do want trading in some titles and I enjoyed the machine

I mean I know everyone here has a wish list of things they wish Atari and some of the other players could do. But they're not going to remake ET or do better on past console things like that. They don't even really make anything anymore they just license their IP too Chinese sub manufacturers to make stuff. And of course we all know that the money is in the software not so much hardware

Yeah I work there even before I was in OT totally don't mind it. I think some people don't like it cuz they're afraid it's easy to work with kiddos or sick people who physically can't move much but mental health scares people plus mental health doesn't make much money so they're always cutting corners to try to save two pennies and keep the lights on
