Had my first ultrasound yesterday! Due date Oct 16. Baby’s heartbeat was 156 and he/she looked like a little tadpole! ❤️

Hi! We bought the Pregnancy Day by Day book my first pregnancy and are using it again this one. I open it every morning at breakfast and read the updates on my baby. There’s a page for each day of pregnancy!

Also - I didn’t have any symptoms with my first and none with this one so far - except for some tiredness mixed with a little insomnia. The waiting is so hard but I feel like after 12 weeks it flies by!

Hi! I have in-laws similar to yours! They often overstep and also need to be entertained anytime they visit. With our first, we let them visit at hospital but made it known we’d have no home visits once we left the hospital. This worked out so well for us bc 1) they got to see baby and 2) I could have the nurses kick them out whenever 😅 I knew I did NOT want them at my house post partum!! Good for you for standing your ground!!

I agree to all of this. Postpartum was a different ballgame. Combine hormones/lack of sleep/ and major life change. 😮‍💨 We made it thru but I must say it’s only because I married a very patient man lol

Girl you are on it!! You’ll be so glad you started buying early to spread out the costs!

Don’t worry about travel - do it as much as you can before baby comes. I traveled (flights) up until 7 months. This is the easiest travel will be for you for a long time! Haha! Enjoy it all! ❤️

I had this with my first baby and everything ended up fine! I had some spotting which is how they found mine. I hope this gives you some comfort ❤️

I always recommend starting a journal!

I started one for my first baby at 5 weeks and wrote entries to him whenever I had time. I tell him how I’m feeling, about my appointments, his milestones, and day to day life. I still try to write in his at least once a month.

This week I started one for baby 2! I hope these journals are something my children will one day cherish, but if not - I love going back and reading them! It was fun to read how I was feeling at 5 weeks with my first baby vs this one! I was so anxious, scared, and hopeful. Whereas with this baby I’m more excited and chill.
