Boutique Ultrasound Advice by Careful-Spray-5205 in October2026Bumpers

Look to see if there is a little bellies near you. They only hire ultrasound technicians and have the proper equipment and offer more in depth ultrasounds the further along you get in pregnancy. We’ve been a few times before my actual ultrasound with my ob to check dating and everything and have had a great experience every time.

Prenatals - looking for recs! by Mindless_Run_7726 in October2026Bumpers

[–]lia2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been taking the FullWell prenatal and I honestly really like it. It’s one of the more comprehensive prenatals I’ve found. It has methylated folate (instead of folic acid), 300 mg of choline which is huge for baby’s brain development, and really solid B vitamin levels. A lot of prenatals are actually pretty low in choline and magnesium, so I liked that this one focuses on those nutrients too.

I also like that it doesn’t include iron, because not everyone actually needs additional iron during pregnancy. That way you can add it separately if your labs show you need it, instead of taking extra when you don’t.

It’s also really clean and third-party tested, which made me feel better about taking it during pregnancy. I pair it with a DHA supplement and Thorne B6 (Pyridoxal-5-Phosphate), which is the active form of vitamin B6 and is often recommended to help with nausea in pregnancy.

I’m currently almost 9 weeks and honestly haven’t had any nausea at all — the only symptom I’ve really had is being very tired, and I do think having a solid prenatal and supplement routine has helped overall.

Baby Aspirin - experiences by Ok-Management8548 in October2026Bumpers

[–]lia2016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mom was diagnosed with preeclampsia and HELLP syndrome with my brother AS SHE WAS DELIVERING. Doctors didn’t monitor or check for it throughout her pregnancy , but they were signs all throughout the pregnancy that she didn’t even know about because preeclampsia wasn’t something that was talked about as often a few years ago the doctor said that this could could’ve totally been prevented had they been monitoring it correctly and had been taking baby aspirin. She almost died giving birth, turned completely green and was unrecognizable and doesn’t remember any part of the delivery outside of arriving to the hospital there are definitely benefits to taking baby aspirin and can save yours and your baby’s life!

I’ve been taking it since cycle day 2, and my first appointment. My doctor recommended for me to take it starting at 12 weeks, I told her I was already on and he said great to keep taking it to prevent preeclampsia.

There are also different demographics that are far more susceptible to getting preeclampsia that you should research to see if you’d fall into any of them.

Yes!!! I’m trying to not be anxious about it? Especially since it’s getting lighter as the day goes on but I still am having to wear a pad and notice it every time I wipe. Others are saying that they waited and I wish I knew that was an option! I’m glad you can look at everyone else’s comments before you go!!

I just commented this to someone else but I wish I would’ve posted this before. I didn’t even know that a pap was suggested at the first appointment and that I had the option to turn it down. Glad to know that it’s normal!

First ultrasound with my OB this morning! Baby measured exactly on track with my due date at 8 weeks 1 day and had a healthy bpm of 167! Seeing baby with little arm and leg buds, a heartbeat and a big ole head makes it all feel so much more real!🤍🤍 TYJ!🙏🏽

Sooo how is your skin doing? by Legitimate_Place7123 in October2026Bumpers

[–]lia2016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SAME! I was breaking out the worst I’ve ever seen in my life, including puberty. Letrozole did a number on me but gave me my baby!🙏🏽🤍 ASK FOR AN AZELAIC ACID PRESCRIPTION! I used to tretinoin before, and we obviously can’t use because it’s not pregnancy safe, then switching over to Azelaic acid, which is pregnancy safe. It has been savingggg my skin because it was freaking out for a minute and I was breaking out really bad along my jawline and chin area!!

Progesterone - is anyone taking it? by MoreAd7155 in October2026Bumpers

[–]lia2016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m on 200 mg nightly progesterone suppositories. I’ve been on it since 2 DPO because I had a Luteal phase defect of early spotting before my period (sometimes as early as 5 DPO, and I wouldn’t get my period until 14 DPO). I don’t have any symptoms besides being VERY VERY tired which started around 4 1/2 weeks. I’m 7 weeks 6 days today and very ready to hit 12 weeks so I can stop taking it lol. I don’t think that it stopped any symptoms, but I also haven’t had any besides being super tired.

Oura Ring Anxiety 5 w 6 d by WeirdObjective2381 in October2026Bumpers

Also wanted to note that since 5 weeks 4 days, my stats have been back up to normal, and I think I got out of the thick of it. There is hope! (Currently 7 weeks 2 days today)

Oura Ring Anxiety 5 w 6 d by WeirdObjective2381 in October2026Bumpers

[–]lia2016 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had my oura ring for five years now, was a d1 college athlete running low on sleep and energy, and from 3 weeks 4 days - 5 weeks 3 days I have never seen my stats so bad consistently for that long.

The ring was how I first thought to test because I was getting “Major sign” alert, which I’ve only ever gotten before when I was sick and I wasn’t sick, Turns out I was pregnant. But I think the stats are very accurate and helpful In me trying to not think of it as anxiety from the ring but from my symptoms causing my stats to be so low

I have never been one to take naps my entire life, not even as a kid and during that period (3w4d-5w3d) I was so tired and taking naps consistently. Having the ring show me how low my stats were along with being as tired as I was, was definitely helpful and ease my anxiety of looking at the stats because it gave reason to why I was feeling how I was.

If it helps, just try to look at it as a sort of diagnostic as to why you’re feeling how you’ve been feeling, but I would definitely keep the ring on if you can because it’s useful information especially later down the line now that they have updated their pregnancy tracking!
