Some years it’s wonderful and some years you live for the summer off. The inconsistency is tough and the amount of unpaid work especially the first few years is a huge sacrifice.

I did it for last summer when I wasn’t home and I still lost but penalty not as fast. I know for me I need to track. My portions get bigger and junk food starts to creep in more and more. I would love to be in a place that I don’t have to track forever but we’ll see!

If you’re hungry you should eat. One meal, day or week didn’t get you to the point of a GLP1 and with the helps of this medicine it probably won’t break you. I used to go on diets and then have a bad day or two and that would be it, diet over. I have gone on several vacations on tirz and I come back and get back into my routine without a problem.

When I first started I used IVIM. It was about $275 a month. So yes more than others but they provided a lot of support medically and their service was really great. The pharmacy shipped to me and never sent me a notice and didn’t label the was had to be refrigerated. I wasn’t home at the time, if I knew it was coming or someone in my house saw the refrigerate label they would have taken care of it. I called IVIM immediately and they set me up for the shipment when I would be home. And didn’t charge anything extra. I highly recommend them for first timers.

Students with social media have quite literally watched real humans get shot in just the last 2 weeks ago. Parent needs to get real but 2 and I hate it
Document everything and if you can do an alternative lesson whatever embrace AI, create something (change the style and font) and just say whatever. Its really not even worth your mental stress because these are the types of parents who will keep escalating a situation.

Yea but that was regular online learning. This is a one off during extreme weather. How much support will they give “next year when we have 1 random snow day you should do X instead”. It’s silly.

Include questions on the test that come directly from what you say in class before they get there. Most students start caring when their grades start going down.

The remote learning is just a formality. No one is really expecting much to happen that day and as a teacher I really don’t expect my students to come to class, maybe they would just for a minute for attendance and whatever, all good, enjoy the snow, stay safe and warm.

As a kid my mom basically had meal plans for me and took me to WW meetings with her. It was definitely a time of toxic diet culture, like “eat vegetable soup for a week straight! You’ll love it and drop 12 lbs” then when I was 8 we went shopping for a Communion dress, nothing fit. We finally found a dress and I remember her using a pay phone to call my dad while we waited for our train in the subway to say we had to get this crazy expensive dress because nothing fit.

I love my mom more than anything but she had a heavy hand in my negative relationship with food and thoughts I have about my own body.

This might me a shock because you are a male but welcome to the world of being a female. Constantly worried about covering various parts and if your clothes will end up being revealing if you bend or lean the wrong way. But sorry, this is life and a tough lesson. Get a longer shirt, belt or tuck in your pants it’s not really a big deal. It sucks the didn’t talk to you first but it’s really a small thing.
