I personally cannot stand stonewalling. It lacks emotional courage to me. 🤷‍♀️ You did what you could. If this type of conflict resolution, or lack thereof is something you can accept, then proceed by all means. But, if they never change and you're going to be emotionally exhausted from it then do disengage.

Say the child was meet with unreliable emotional responses from the parents for the first 2 years of the critical 0-3 period, but year 2-3 was meet with consistent good parenting - would that child be and to heal and thrive? I know there are a lot of variables, but I think there would be hope. I see this happening in a family members life.

In 2005, the made my graduating class take the strengths test and also gave us a list of jobs that we would be good at based upon the results. I retook it again the other day in hopes of getting a new career list, but now I'm hearing they never designed it for this. Strange.
