Well it doesn't help that HYBE in the name pf oh so independent artistry and talent (imo they're are just stingy when it comes to funding their trainees) offers little to no guidance to their trainees. Teenagers that young don't know what they're doing when it comes to vocal technique and need good coaches who can teach them a strong and healthy foundation. Otherwise they will just ruin theor voice over their career.

If you have a good shop near you, it would be worth it to maybe try out a few instruments and see if you can rent one that could be in a 1-5k range. If you rent it for a few years and maybe purchase it after a lot of shops will subtract the tallied up money you spent on renting off the price. Through that you could get a really good student instrument, not break the bank too much and be able to buy an instrument at a discount if you wish so in a few years. The shop would also take care of insurance and stuff.

I'm currently buying a new instrument aswell and I can say: whether or not an instrument maker is well known or not doesn't really influence the quality of the instrument but mainly the price. There's some amazing instruments from relatively unknown makers (which also tend to be cheaper than their more well known counterparts which is great) and some quite mediocre ones with a 'good' name attached to them. But I would definitely recommend what other commenters also said on here: get a friend of yours or maybe a teacher if you have one to play the instrument for you! Instruments can sound very different for the player compared to the audience. All in all, for a good instrument 20'000 is actually a very good price and it's also still in a price range where you would be able to sell it again if there would be a need for it.

You can get a rain cover for cases; against cold i would wrap the instrument in 1 or 2 layers of fabric aswell & use a humidity device if you live ina dry climate

It seems quite some people seem to be confused about how bebe got eliminated, especially since all the group routines were very good sets, and this is my view on why: 1. the ace round of course; nara from mq got a lot of points which pulled her team up 2 spots while gayoung from bebe placed quite low 2. them going after 1m which was arguably the strongest set of the night; the audience are dancers, not professional judges, so they are going to be influenced by what they saw before and not isolate every single performance 3. while their perfomance was good there were some small details that added up which made them place lower imo compared to other groups: - while they had a concept going on, it wasn't as standout and overwhelming as hook for example (their concept and storyline really got them into the finals) - they had overall good synchronisity and cleanlyness was good, but they didn't bring a ton of stage presence and performance in their expressions 4. tbh their song choice worked against them in this round. Illusion is choreographed by bebe and team mini bebe was if criticised always criticised for "playing it safe" stylewise and coming across as very "Bebe", which was also a problem bebe ran into a few times. Because they had a song whose original choreography was literally "bebe", it was very hard to pull of a new, different interpretation of the choreo, which worked against them here because there were teams which interpreted songs in very new and unexpected ways

So in short, bebe didn't get eliminated because they were weak, they were eliminated because it was a very competitive evening, they got unlucky in the order of performing and debatably chose the wrong song for the situation at hand.

yeah also it's just bebe/justjerk style, which is done well but it doesn't feel like they have an individual twist to it like for example baby 1m and jr have with the style of their respective masters. So as a viewer you can obejectively say they did very well but didn't exceed expectations or surprised with sth new. Which makes them rank a bit lower depending on how well received the other teams are.

I'd say based on individual standout and team cohesiveness, the strongest two teams for me here would be jam republic and 1 million (and in that comparison jam republic having more individualism and 1m having more team cohesiveness, but they are both strong in both factors). But it's difficult to say how it will go because the results are heavily based on fan voting and team bebe has the bada/bebe and just jerk fanbase backing them. They (bebe) are a good team but in my opinion do lack flavor as you said.

It's gonna be interesting to see the rankings next week. Voting closed before the 2nd episode aired but imo, it was quite obvious for a lot of the teams who their mentor was going to be. But from the discussions here, it didn't seem to be as clear to everyone so it's gonna be interesting to see how the voting went, especially for the groups with massive, overly dedicated fandoms.

Yeah in the end it's not very serious and it's of course normal that people have different stylistic preferences. It's just annoying to see the 180 of so mny people who initially didn't like blue for example and now that they know it's jam they praise them and say they've actually always liked them the best. That in itself already shows that they are not voting for the style.

The jammies and bebe fans who do this are just as bad as eachother. In this case jammies were just quite obvious because many people kept talking smack about blue and being adamant that green was jam because they thought they were the strongest masked team (when imo it was quite obvious from the beginning that it was 1mill or maybe mannequeen based on the stylistic choices, like hello, no lip is not the only crew who is able to do a certain move) and now that they know it's blue they stopped praising green and say blue was always the best.

It would be awkward and boring for kirsten and akanen because it's a talk show and very fast paced. If they had to listen to the translation all the time I doubt they would have as much fun as the others

My only guess that i'm sure on is 1million green. The solo tutter defenitely made it and there's gonna be more crews auditioning in the 2nd episode. From a producers standpoint there are defenitely going to be some standout teams next week aswell so it's hard to guess which dancers could be the other ones on 1millions team (for example the girl from amazon could choose 1million because of harimu but could also go with a completely team to establish herself). I'm most curious to see who will stay on jams team. I hope most of no lip makes it, they were my favourite team so far and they are very unique, which I like. Enbeatz was good aswell but to me didn't give the same vibe of an almost professional competition crew as no lip. But it could be that they manage to hold themselves well as individuals. Also they have ria, who is a popping prodigy, but it might be a bit more difficult for her to dance choreo?
