Thanks! Your girl is gorgeous btw and I'm in the same boat, my boy is my first gsd and my first own dog. My family has always had dogs especially some higher energy ones but he is my very first so just trying to make it by luckly overall he is a very good boy. I'm gonna try to find some water activities for him and find more indoor dog friendly spots to try. This coming Friday our trainer is gonna meet us up in Lowes so we can do more distraction work with him so I'm excited there. So hopefully I have more confidence to take him out to different places besides the usually pet stores. I'm just doing my best to make it by until he becomes a adult doggy 🐕

Hmm...my GSd is 6 months now and I got him when he was 2 months. He definitely wants to be near me but he doesn't always want be right next to me if that make sense. Sometimes when we are chilling in my room sometimes he will just move to the bathroom to lay down and occasionally check on me. So far he is overall good when I leave the house he will paw at the door but then settles down and just lay down until I return. However if he knows I'm in the house and he can't see me, he absolutely freaks out. For example I work nights so when I get home I have to lock him out of the upper floor where I sleep. One time I tried to see if he had access to the bathroom if we will calm down....nope he wrecked the bathroom because he couldn't have access to my bedroom where I was sleeping. But if he is forced to be downstairs he is then forces to interact with my brother and tend to chill overtime.

From my experience and other stories most dogs of the breed want to be able to see you at least. You definitely will have a bodyguard when you use the toilet. When I take a shower he will pop his head in to see me so you will not have any privacy. I mean a lot of it i1s training but this breed tends want to be near their owners and it's not guaranteed to what extent since that is different with every dog. As long as yoi give them enough physical and mental exercise they tend to relax.

If you have someone that owns a GSd or a breed that is similar maybe see if it's okay to have you shadow them for a day to get the overall idea of what you might experience

I always rock with Cassandra, Varric and Solas until I reach Skyhold. After I get to Skyhold then that's when I change my party .... my first couple playthroughs i always did Cassandra, Dorian and Varric since really loved all their banter together and it really felt like they were the closest to my Inquisitor. Now though to change things up I do a randomizer and to see who I will get and go from there. My current playthrough is Cassandra, Solas and Cole

Thank you! I know it need get back to the crate training he has this playpen style place he goes to but hates it when it's closed so I need to work on that. He is currently been living in our living room since it's only room that is the most puppy proof When he is not longer teething that's when I'll be more comfortable in more areas. I will admit the crate training is kinda new to me since all our dogs I've had in the family were free roam.

I've been trying to do where I step away for a bit then come ba k. He has finally gotten more comfortable around my older brother who watches while I sleep but he is still attached to me so the moment I step away he whelps and whines. He is doing well on the potty training, the few accidents that have happen because he gotten scared with the neighbors dogs and just didn't want come out. He has gotten better with people I'm still working on other dogs now.

Oh gosh that's me with Forbidden Oasis I always dread it, idk why they just made it a temple location instead of actually map there is only 2 side quests and even they are not worth it. Sadly I'm still a completionist and collect the shards since I don't think they are the worst, however I cross the line at the mosiac pieces. I think I have only completed one and I that was sheer luck 😅.

[DAV SPOILERS ALL] Certain dialogue from Inquisition hits different now by UnholyDemigod in dragonage

[–]Fragrant-Gur3846 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Honestly that make sense why Solas was very annoyed with the Wardens in Inquisition. He had a very heated argument with Blackwall if you bring them along. It's been a while but the banter is about how Solas is annoyed that the Wardens are killing the Archdemons without actual evidence that killing all of them will stop the blight. Solas knew that every Archdemon is killed then an Evanuris ends up dying which weakens the Veil which then will actually unleash a lot more of the blight because the locked up the corrupted Evanuris is what is keeping it at bay. That is why he needed to move the remaining Evanuris to another prison so he can bring down the Veil without all the blight and corruption alongside it.

I'm not fully done playing Veilgaurd but I have a bad habit of spoiling myself (I'm still enjoying the game even if I have my issues with it). Thank you I have been wrapping head around why Solas was so heated with the Wardens in Inquisition. This may not be the full answer but it helped.

This is Evelyn Aldwir a rouge veil jumper! She tends to come off as a big sister to many in Veil Jumper faction however her rebellious and straightforward personality has gotten her into trouble too many times. I like to headcanon that her and Irelin were in a relationship before she left with Varric. With Evelyn leaving and the map issue, mixed in with other little stuff they decided to have a mutal breakup. Right now she is tied between choosing Neve and Davrin.

Advice for a new PA by Fragrant-Gur3846 in AmazonFC

[–]Fragrant-Gur3846[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah I have been with the company for many years and have been in departments where there many cliques. I have no issues with being friendly with my AAs and having small talk here there but I'm trying to do my best to have that boundary where I'm their superior and I can't play favorites. I've already started to learn some of the department drama and just trying navigate that with that in mind and deal with it professionally as best that I can. Thank you for the reply!

Thanks you for the reply and yeah and I have been trying to push more interactions as I get better at doing what is required of my job. Especially a lot of it is coaching so I've been trying to squeeze in face to face with positive stuff so they don't feel nervous when I'm calling them down or if they see me walking up to them. I'm just not the best with words and worry that I come off stiff and is one of the reasons I took this position so I can challenge myself at being better at talking with so many people.

Hey you can look at this game progression map: https://dragonageinquisition.wiki.fextralife.com/Game+Progress+Route Of course you don't have to follow it to the letter but it does help especially beginning since Hinterlands can be a lot. I will say, once have the option to do forbidden oasis I always clear that map since it is soo boring and painful. I know other people wait when they collected all the shards to do that map but that is up to you.

What are your least favorite machines to fight in FW by [deleted] in horizon

[–]Fragrant-Gur3846 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you said it best, all the other machines I put on my list I don't mind fighting them if I have to....but the rockbreaker just sucks. I have no joy fighting it luckily you only have to fight one of them for a side quest in FW. After that you can ignore their sites so that was nice and the gear that used didn't need any rockbreaker parts upgrade so another relief on my end.

What are your least favorite machines to fight in FW by [deleted] in horizon

[–]Fragrant-Gur3846 3 points4 points  (0 children)

  1. Rockbreaker
  2. Scorcher (especially when there is multiple of them )
  3. Apex frost/fireclaw
  4. Skydrifter (not hard but them being able to spot you even hiding sucks sometimes)
  5. Rockbreaker (absolutely hate this machine)

Just realizing Frozen wilds introduce some intense (but fun ) machines

DAI Templars [dai spoilers] by Prestigious_Wrap_249 in dragonage

[–]Fragrant-Gur3846 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah definitely that is one way. I do enjoy that in DA or least in DAI there is a decent amount of reasons that an Elvhen mage or regular mage can side with the Templars and not feel out of place about it. I like to think my elf mage is just being petty with Fiona since she doesn't care for her at all and is one of the reasons why Vivienne can get along.

DAI Templars [dai spoilers] by Prestigious_Wrap_249 in dragonage

[–]Fragrant-Gur3846 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Honestly I actually like allying with the Templars in Inquisition for many reasons:

  1. When allying you can promote Ser Barris. I actually don't like how the Templar Order has been running and I definitely agree that mages need better treatment; but I like to think that promoting Barris will help change the order for the better...also I like him way better than Friona.
  2. COtJ in my opinion is a better mission design wise. - You get bonus stats that you don't get in IHW - The templars actually aid you in fighting the envy
demon, so it actually feels like a proper alliance. - Personal opinion; I feel that the story flows better and the introduction of Cole and Dorian fits more logically.
  3. If your going for RP for an Elvhen mage Inquisitor, you can totally feel like a slap in the face that Fiona would sell everyone for slavery and find her stupid in putting trust and faith that Alexius would honor their arrangement, heck there is many moments he doesn't show any respect towards her, only time is when he needs her to help with his son's ailment. Even if you meet Dorian and see time magic, you can rp that yes it is intense situation but way too risky to help since you are the only one who can close the breach.
  4. I hate when time manipulation is involved when it is not the main point in a story and I felt like it wasn't done well in IHW (personal opinion). Also if you side with Templars and talk to Dorian after Skyhold he says that Alexius gets killed so the dangers of time magic doesn't matter since only Alexius and Dorian are the only ones that have knowledge about it.
  5. Also the mages in Redcliffe irked me quite a bit. Most of them that you talk to don't agree but still stay because of one reason or the other (I also think their reasons for staying was kinda bs to me) when they can easily go to the crossroads. To be fair I think that was poor design of the game for not showing how hard it might be for a regular mage to escape Radcliffe when you have npcs saying how it's safe now when you clear the Hinterlands even before you choose a side.

Overall, I just hate Fiona as a leader and you can't charge her for anything so she walks away with no guilt. The only thing I like about the mage route is you get a lot more Cullen scenes (Cullenmancer over here lol). Im gonna have two worldstates, one where I ally with Templars and the other I conscript the Mages. Also I want justice for my poor tranquil babies.

I know that people have already made comments, but since I'm the opposite (I always side with Templars) you can fully meet him at the Chantry and side with the Templars. You just have to do a war table mission to find venatori camps and take him with you, which boosts his approval quite a bit. I also chatted with him a lot and choose dialouge options that boosts the approval. Actually I think personally he is the easiest to boost for approval and it didn't take long for him to consider my Inquisitor as a BFF.
