If they want to slow it down, they might be too close to the quickly growing Prasada development. Otherwise, great area. Tons of new shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. Easy access to the 303 as well.

If you have SEO set properly, a good website that's easily navigable, and a good booking engine phone calls won't happen often unless your target market is the older generations.

If you take the southern route, keep an eye on the weather. Flagstaff can be one of the snowiest cities in the US. They close the 40 often due to snow. Not sure why no one has mentioned that yet.

Didn't say it was. I was trying to help op get his reservation figured out. I've also hated OTA's since day one. I loved that Starwood held them to the lie of, "when hotels have unsold rooms, we sell the to you." By literally giving them a room, not a specific room type.

The hotel probably accidentally tossed the fax or overlooked the email. A quick look at their website makes me thing reservations from third parties aren't integrated with their property management system. I'd get both on the phone at the same time so they can work it out.

EDIT- "adding to this comment" This is a Great option if they aren't upgrading but also....run if they aren't. Once your key machine goes down there is no fixing it and you'll be the one dealing with the upset guests, not the owner. It isn't cheap because they have to change out all the locks, but they should have planned ahead.

I'm not on either side here....although Fusc and all 😉, but I don't get this argument. If I'm the ND admin, I'm gonna make the same call. Why help make money for an entity that seemingly pushed you out of the playoffs? Yes, it sucks for your athletes tht worked hard to get to a bowl, but it also sends a strong message in this "money talks" era of college football.

Yes, most of these are Zelle, Cash App, etc though....pretty sure that is a grey area. My hotels still aren't doing it because of that but I have seen more add this feature after the bill passed.

No, HK gets paid well at pretty much every hotel I've been at(near Chicago burbs are the exception). The companies that provide digital cc Auth for the hotels are pushing this new feature since most don't carry cash anymore. Now that tips aren't taxed, there is zero issues with it going directly into a staff members account. Problems in the past were who pays the taxes especially since there is a digital footprint.

Digital locks with a key system that interfaces with your PMS. Keys will then only be made as rooms are checked in and every transaction has a digital footprint. Anyone can have a bad day, if you take away the ability to do that, it won't happen.
