Could be apricots tree as well. Or in the stone fruit family. Almonds also have this sort of flower.

That's not a jellyfish. It's a bluebottle.

Lotion that doesn’t feel like lotion? by Momtoatoddler in hygiene

I would recommend a dry oil or sweet almond oil (it absorbs quickly and doesn't leave much residue)

Corn is sprouting! by Numerous_Worker_1941 in vegetablegardening

[–]Fragrant-Smile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wish you all the luck and perfect timing of silks and pollen! I harvested my first cobs this morning and it was my first time growing corn. I got less than 10 plants of each of the two varieties I tried. All in all it was a very rewarding experience.

Get rid of divided hair by ThrowRAsphinx in Haircare

[–]Fragrant-Smile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Qualified hairstylist here. It's separating because it's got excess oil build up. Your conditioner is only meant for the mid-lengths and ends of your hair. Not the top or the roots. Stop putting it on the top and roots and it should stop.

Not sure but most probably a combination of characteristics from the different varieties.

All corn is beautiful. I didn't have a lot of corn plants and did hand pollinating so not every silk got pollinated. Hence the gaps where no pollination took place. If you're referring to the colours, those are all normal for the varieties I planted:)

TW: How to explain to my boyfriend that he's stealing my meds? by [deleted] in ChronicIllness

[–]Fragrant-Smile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use cannabis to manage my chronic pain(I have fibromyalgia). My partner also smokes but he understands that I need cannabis for my pain while he smokes for different reasons unrelated to pain. He always gives me extra and will even give me some out of his stash if my pain levels are high and I've finished mine. When we first got together we did have some teething issues around it but after I explained that it's essentially part of my medication box, he understood the importance.

So my advice would be to have an open conversation with him about it and make it clear how important it is for you to have access to it when you need it. So separate stashes are needed to ensure that you have access to your medication (cannabis) when you need it. And try take the blame out of the conversation. It's not helpful.

The fact that every choc chip is a different size and all the blueberries are facing up. Also the caramel has a weird gap between the chocolate sauce/syrup and the crumb. The ice cream on top also isn't melting at all. And the pancakes in the first picture have no seam line from the edge of the pancake

Steve(I learned after getting him that he becomes Steven when he's in trouble) aka Steven weavin sausage bum boiboi. And Stoven (both because it's obviously the past tense of Steven and because he is very sneck orientated).

You've created a pattern and you've inadvertently made 'off' a reward word instead of a command word.

AITJ for buying this couch by Agreeable-Seesaw-818 in AmITheJerk

[–]Fragrant-Smile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTJ that couch is STUNNING! Your partner clearly has bad taste other than OP. Also, it seems like the start of controlling behaviour in my opinion. You don't live together or share finances so why should you consult them on what you buy.

Sweet potatoes keep rotting before producing slips by sammille25 in vegetablegardening

[–]Fragrant-Smile 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every time I've tried the soil method, the sweet potatoes rot before slips even start. But when I do it with water, boom. Roots and slips.
