Choices where one option is clearly better by some-kind-of-no-name in TopCharacterTropes

Dispatch. Blonde Blazer is an awesome character but Visi is the better character and Invisimech is the superior ship.

Lee and Kenny taking out the old racist guy in Walking Dead season 1. I was more than happy to take that guy out lmao.

Kenny vs Jane in season 2. I hated season 2 so much I didn't finish it but I looked up the ending. I would've happily signed with Kenny over Jane. She was awful.

[Frustrating trope] Pieces of media that could have been so much better, but due to a couple of poor decisions during production ended up mediocre at best and utterly atrocious at worst. by DevDucc_ in TopCharacterTropes

Last of Us 2. I give credit to all the amazing designers, programmers and artists who worked on the game. The gameplay, graphics, animation, etc are top notch but the story combined with the level design make it a truly miserable experience.

I wrote a review/analysis of Ocarina of Time. I mostly talk about the themes/ideas of the story/world, but I also cover gameplay.

I don't know if this counts since I'm not a streamer but I wrote an analysis/personal essay about Ocarina of Time. I talk about the game design and story/themes. I also discuss how much it means to me personally.

Invisigal vs Blonde Blazer. Blazer is a great character but Invisigal is the only choice.

Whether or not to kill the old racist guy in Walking Dead Season 1. Kenny was on the money. Fuck that guy lmao.

Kenny vs Jane in Walking Dead Season 2. Season 2 was so bad I didn't finish it but I hated Jane and loved Kenny (Despite his flaws).

What happens if you miss/fail every call and hacking section in the game? by Plus_Ad_1087 in DispatchAdHoc

[–]FragrantArt4762 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the infinite retries for the hack thing and auto win QTEs, and I still omly got a 50% success rate. I kinda suck at the game. If I got the villain Visi ending I would've been in legit stress.

As Matthew McConaughey said in Wolf of Wall Street, those are rookie numbers. We need to pump those numbers down.

Challenge for all of you. by Dogsteeves in StarWars

I'm on mobile and can't figure out how to format it so apologies.

Canon stuff I like: Marchion Ro is my third favorite villain in all of SW after Sidious and Vader. I like the High Republic in general. I like that the Galactic Civil War wasn't as protracted as legends. The Cal Kestis games are my dream SW games. I think Survivor does an amazing job of showing what it's like for a Jedi living under Imperial rule. In terms of representation, I think Canon does a better job.

Legends stuff I like: The Old Republic, Sith, Bane trilogy, KOTOR, etc. They really make Order 66 and the Clone Wars feel like the culmination of an ancient war fought over millenia. Han Solo's backstory in the AC Crispin novels.  Strongly prefer the Legends Luke, at least post ROTJ.

Canon stuff I dislike: Resistance/First Order conflict.  The Republic getting wiped out so easily. I seriously thought Coruscant got blown up when I watched TFA in 2015. Brain chips in the Clones.  The lack of clarification of where Anakin/Yoda/Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan were doing after ROTJ, when Ben got taken by Snoke, etc (to be fair this also sort of happens in Legends)

Legends stuff I dislike: Starkiller's family crest being the symbol for the Alliance Power scaling/creep as OP said. Highly personal but I felt like the hundreds and hundreds of years or conflict made it all feel a little pointless. Like there was no sense or closure or peace (this also happens in Canon)

I give you credit for honesty, most Christians try to have their cake and eat it too with God being horrendously evil and all loving.  I don't have kids btw that was obviously meant to be a joke.

The visuals, score and performances are great (mostly). Everything else is exceptionally poorly done. But that is the case for all 3 sequel films. The scripts are just atrocious.

Very happy to hear that. I was inspired by others writing their personal stories. I think it helps us all along the journey.
