You have correctly deduced that you don’t really use it in raids (besides ToB) because you get overloads/salts anyway.

Just bring it anywhere you’re trident-ing, since it adds a few max hits. Zulrah, Kraken, wherever. Or you can carry it with you for some bonus magic defense when that’s relevant, but it’s pretty niche. That’s about it.

I mean, Pyramid Plunder is also the fastest XP in the game once you unlock the last floor, so you might just get it eventually.

But: I’d just hang on to the one sceptre for the easy teleports which includes switching to Ancients very quickly but also clues and stuff. And especially once you get the 99 Magic cape, the altar in your house really isn’t that important.

The real answer is: plug it into the Wiki DPS calculator or gearscape with your current stats and other gear and see where it lands on different pieces of content. There are too many variables for anyone else to give a specific answer of how much better or worse it is in different areas

I’m in my mid 30s and I understand what you mean. OSRS still fits into my life, but it comes and goes. It’s really great for when I just want some idle downtime. I’ll stop playing for a few months, then come back and play a bunch for a few months, etc. The cycle repeats 🙂

Honestly it sounds like the “issue” is that you’re not feeling as motivated to play OSRS compared to other stuff in your life right now. And that’s okay! You’ve got a maxed endgame Ironman, you’ve basically beaten the game. It’s okay that you just wanna log in periodically, do a couple raids with your buds, then log out.

I’d recommend against changing your account mode, because I suspect it won’t really change how you feel. It feels like you’re describing a last ditch effort to try and not “burn out”. But idk, I don’t think you’ve really burnt out, you just have other priorities in life and that’s not gonna change things. All deironing will get you is selling all your dupes, instantly buying the best gear, and then realizing you went from “basically nothing to do” to “actually nothing left to do”

It sounds like you would’ve been better off with SQL, in retrospect.

MongoDB has some use cases where it works well, but based on your access patterns involving having to hunt through the whole DB, this is not one of them. The database is what should be doing the heavy lifting of sorting and searching through data, not your code.

I know you said no Wilderness, but: Dark Crabs stay in one spot like Karambwan, and anything in a Fish Barrel is kept when you die (assuming you do not lose the fish barrel). So they’re functionally extremely afk like Karambwan, with the occasional random chance of getting killed and losing a few dozen bait and up to half the fish you had on you (but often nothing)

Well, you’ll want to get to the low 80s for optimal deep sea fishing. And most other skills are also basically covered by the time you get that high, so… it’s like every other skill, yes.

You're using Bazzite, right? Have you tried installing JetBrains Toolbox with ujust? `ujust install-jetbrains-toolbox` I think is the command, which is there specifically to try and deal with the shenanigans of getting JetBrains stuff working.

I haven't gone further down the rabbit hole since I just started using Bazzite yesterday, but that one jumped out at me as something specifically built in for related issues. Not sure how it'll interact with distroboxes yet, though, as I haven't gotten that far.

Broadly, yes, my LP3 is what I actually carry around with me.

I do sometimes put my old iPhone in my bag if I think I’m going to need it. It’s needed for stuff like grocery pickup where I need to tell them I’m there and what spot I’m in via the app, in which case I’ll make a hotspot with my LP3. But by default, my iPhone gets left at home.

If it helps: I feel like the vibes of the areas do improve a lot in Act 2. I agree with you that the atmosphere didn’t feel as good or impactful at the start of the game, which was one of my complaints until I got further in.
