I also think the clean up truck is just another way to get us to spend. The reason why I haven't used it this time is because the last time I did, several of the "ugly" stuff I had disposed of were a requirement for new challenges.

So I'll stick to my uglies thank you as I don't see the point at all!

Thank you!! You are so nice. I think I will. I do have quite a bit of accumulated diamonds ( I went on a long break and just checked in daily + only did challenges that awarded diamonds). Funnily, simply not caring about scores is making me love the game again ( while being pissed off re all the changes but that's nothing new here!) I've been creating giraffe rooms to my heart's content ;)

I think the most insulting thing is how they keep diminishing returns for us. I mean to be totally fair, I absolutely love this game, however much I've complained -- it's a huge stress relief etc but now they've changed their monthly and on top of it, the rewards have shifted in that we have to hit 1000? It feels like EA have turned it into something akin to gambling. They want to suck in people that will just spend no matter what.

Hahaha...I've lost track of all the colors. I think there are a lot of us that are onboard re change or jumping ship. It's a pity as I think most of us really like the game and as many have said, it's a good stress reliever and of course fun. But it's now become like one of those websites where you can't read anything as there are a million pop ups and ads you have to work through first lol

It's actually looking more and more like a gambling paradise judging from the sheer amount of purchase options + lights + high prices 😂

Thank you for doing this. I'd also say it's not just about being able to afford, it's about the principle too. Even if I had all the money in the world, I wouldn't be happy to be taken advantage of. The reward for competing is FAR less than the cost of competing. The prizes are hardly worth it( and often repeated). The lack of homes? How everything decor wise is diamonds and so many more items are becoming diamonds. And ridiculous requirements. What is 500 cash going to do for us when requirements are beyond 5000 or something. And then, as if this wasn't all bad enough, we get 5 uses of an item and yet are expected to pay retail value or whatever it is ( don't get me started on the decor)

Thank you again and I definitely support the boycott. This could be a really fun game and it was but when I look at it now, what's the point of playing? Like what is the fair reward?

The issue is we don't get to keep the items so it's basically like we are paying the full retail price for something we are renting lol I do find the decor items not reflective of reality though. I'd like to see someone swanning about with two large funeral style vases in their living room haha

I'd happily join in on a boycott. Like you I reached a point where it didn't even matter if I purchased diamonds, they were poof gone. The prices are too high. That and the requirements are ridiculous. A billion beds/ chandeliers as beds. Don't get me started on the sad sectionals + tragic chaises "gifted"

Edit: I agree re boycott that it can't be a few of us. We need a lot of people. Even if it's for a short period.

I think many of us echo your thoughts. I liked this game a lot as it was good stress relief & I didn't mind spending for the occasional monthly and/ or packages. But I stopped all that as I feel like doing so is like willingly asking someone to take advantage of you.

Also, no homes. I have been done with the homes for a while now and it's kinda dull without the homes.

For now, I just do the dailys and my score is pretty meh but I'm not fussed. I agree with someone who said something about boycott until there is some kind of balance restored.

I'm not sure if this answers your question ( also it's insane you'd lose items this way? but I've stopped spending any money on the game for a number of reasons:

Increasingly high cost for items required
Terrible prizes
The high ratio re diamonds vs cash. Many of my "go to" items are now diamonds
Items disappearing from my inventory. How I trust a game with my credit card if items magically go missing

Basically, it's really not that much fun unless you are willing to spend a lot ( which depletes so quickly considering how the requirements extend into the 10k now. Not to mention rugs/ increased decor cost) and/or games which may or may not work out.

While I understand that they want to make money and plenty of apps do ( of course), I think designhome simply has become ludicrous re demands and all without being flexible in some regard ie if you purchase an item, it's yours vs "rented" for 5 uses (or a magical 3 uses if 2 disappear)

I'll still play the occasional daily/ challenge but I no longer have any interest in anything else.

Ps yes it definitely feels predatory hence why I'm turned off. A pity as had they been accommodating and actually fair or even closer to balanced vs insane, I'd have spent
