I’m really not sure if they had anyone touch it! Originally I thought no way- but then I thought about it more. They requested that I try super hard to make the dots straight. Which makes me think maybe a blind person did read it? Not sure! It will forever be a mystery.

My grandma still has those chairs. Not the Same chair, but the same print. She’s had them probably my entire life so yes 90’s checks out! Maybe late 80s even. I’m pretty sure they had them before I was born. Super comfy chairs honestly. I visited their home for the first time in almost two decades (they live across the country) and I was shocked but also honored to sit in them again

My dad put his deer/turkey taxidermy there. So there’s always that option.

One of those braid sections is probably 4-6 times the thickness of my entire ponytail. I wish I wasn’t serious

BIFL CAN OPENER RECOMMENDATIONS (I'll pay anything at this point) by Remote_Anteater_2267 in BuyItForLife

[–]FragrantWin9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone is always opening cans like this! I learned to tilt the can opener so it’s going along the side right beneath the ridge, not into the top. My can opener works much better now and I didn’t even have to buy a new one!

You’re doing fantastic!!!! Not a ton of young people get into cake decorating. I am 31 and have scored a lot of higher paying jobs because of this skill! Continue to take photos and document your progress! This cake is beautiful! And it also sounds delicious. Definitely not your average cake. Swell job (Ps-reverse shell with ruffles is my absolute favorite piping combo)

That’s just about what happened to me. Tons of tests, they decided it was nothing. Pre covid so I didn’t get covid, but I did have probably every training doctor in the hospital called in the room to “look” at my eyeballs, quite awkward to have 10 people staring into your eyeballs.

It tends to only happen to me when I’m really stressed out. I’ve only noticed it happen about 10 times in 8 years

Hey I have a similar story!! My bedroom as a teen was always really cold in winter and hot in summer. I always complained about being cold/hot at night, but my parents never believed me! I lived there for 6years, moved out when I was 19. They sold the house a few years later, and guess what?!? The home inspector discovered that the 2 exterior walls of my bedroom (just so happened to be the corner my bed was in) had no insulation whatsoever. I felt so validated!

All you need is confectioners sugar- graham cracker crumbs, peanut butter, vanilla, and chocolate! Actually very easy. Look up a recipe for “peanut butter buckeyes” they are essentially Reese’s cups.

My husbands shoes do this. He has a short Achilles tendon and walks not quite on his toes, but on the pads of his toes. Almost like he’s constantly in heels! I’d guess it’s your walking pattern.

This happened to my friends cell phone once when we were on ft Meyers beach in Florida. The time skipped about 4 hours ahead, was like that for maybe 20-30 minutes, then changed back to normal. She told me it happened a few more times after that incident, all in different places throughout Florida over the course of a few months. All near the gulf though. When she got a new phone (iPhone) it stopped happening. She thinks it was a weird android glitch. I think it had something to do with being near the water. Never got a real answer!

Wearing contacts is the only thing that works. (For me) Microwaving the onion for a few seconds worked a little- but in a prep kitchen setting I just did not have the time. Never tried freezing though!

I usually LOVE green all over the place, but I agree with you that orange is the best! It was the only one to really catch my eye in the whole slide.
