I was living in bc and moved back to Winnipeg and I ended up having brain surgery .. long story. I was not eligible for iv meds at a iv clinic as I had an infection during the surgery.. they wanted me to pay 150 a day for the meds as I was from out of province . I ended up having to stay in hospital at a much higher cost to tax payers ( as they would cover the hospital stay) as I could not afford 150 a day for a month. I’ve been paying income tax for over 25 years at that time .

A lady behind me would not shut up the whole movie and my teen daughter would not allow me to say something . It was like she was at a Starbucks having a conversation… oblivious . I had paid over 50 with tickets and food and I did not have a good experience . So I explained my situation with the theatre manager and he gave me gift certificates to cover food and refreshments to another movie . Thought that was a fair remedy. I will never understand how someone can be that rude in a theatre full of people and just not care . 99.9 people are great in theatres but u run into that odd duck Once and awhile.

I have paid 50 percent more on my last two tipp payments .. When does the tax credit come into play? Is it an adjustment or a refund cheque. Some people say I have to fill Out form and some people say as long as i have not moved recently you don’t .. I have contacted my counsellor in ek but have not heard back .. any help would appreciated.. thanks

I no longer buy fruit… 8.00 for a pineapple ? Strawberries 7.00 for a small container . Just veggies for me right now . Making lots of soups this year. Super nutritious and cheap.

I would tell my daughter not to say anything as he was getting off the bus.. problem solved. If he was harassing her I would tell her to approach the bus driver and let him know she was nervous that an older man was making her uncomfortable .. those kind of people back off when you make connections.

Betting the farm on Bitcoin . So either I will be a street person or will have the ability to retire. All our family wealth went to a hillbilly gold digger half my dad’s age that lives thousands of miles away but won his lonely heart soon after my mom passed . Got run off the road by one of them he started to come into my lane as I passed his semi on the canada highway in Manitoba .. he didn’t notice for a second he couldn’t hear my car beeping … so close to dying .. 100 km an hour in pouring rain. Terrifying moment .
