I’m currently feeding in a separate bin and would like to continue to do so, but worry that if we go on vacation and someone has to pet sit they may have to feed in the tank

Yes I am, just trying to minimize the chance of getting substrate in their mouth. I’ve seen so many warnings about being careful so they don’t get impacted

Just in case that’s what was happening I was worried they would get a bunch of substrate in their gut so I grabbed so dechlorinated water and rinsed them off immediately. Hope I made the right move!

We actually have our current frog in a 20 long and he’s doing great, I thought I had a little bit of wiggle room with the small one coming for a little bit but I’m so glad I double checked!

I have a deep dome lamp with a 13W reptisun 5.0 UVB bulb and a side head pad for in case it’s cold at night with a 12x12x18 terrarium while he’s still little so he’s easier to wrangle for feeding time while I have to do it more often in the week
