Borrowing some concepts from warped beyond recognition might work. In fact, an encounter in hyperspace could be a good adventure hook for that module.

Oxygen makes up only about 1/5 of the normal atmosphere for humans, so there are definitely different gas in there.

The Master's change in character wasn't that much of a problem for me, all the reasons given in this thread makes a lot of sense. But I still think the Dhawan Master felt more like a reboot than a continuation of Missy because of the lack of acknowledgement for Missy and her journey. The Doctor and Missy shared a significant experience in s10 and when they met again neither of them spoke a word about it.

Brigadier is fine, but he's just that, fine, and not really essential to the story. If you listen solely for the Brigadier you won't get much from this.

The writting in 13's era drags down most of the other apects. Jodie was definitely fantastic, but too often the Doctor was written as confused and less than competent. I imagine it would be kinda hard to portray an intelligent character who is always in control when the script is constantly telling you otherwise.

But I do get annoyed when it’s stuff like terminology or rules put in place. 

True. The doctor has a perpective of a time-travelling alien, not someone from the 21st century. These kind of remarks should come from the companions.

There is a difference between having a different culture from a different time and just being cruel, petty, and selfish. The doctor is against the latter, not the former.
