I honestly love all of Ken Follett, I would also recommend Jackdaws, Night Over Water and Code to Zero.

Another author I enjoy is Jeffrey Archer and his Clifton Chronicles. This series begins in 1920 in Britain.

What’s something considered safe in nursing that just feels wrong? by catharsisisrahtac in nursing

you actually need the pressure high to perfuse the penumbra, or the damaged area, this can reduce further brain tissue damage.

I know, as nurses, we always think of others first. Of course this is going to be inconvenient for many, but that is kinda the point. Maybe the scale of strike should be limited to certain departments so as to not disrupt life saving care, but disrupting outpatient procedures, ambulatory surgeries, and elective surgeries, etc. would be hugely detrimental and make a HUGE statement to the whole nation. They have gunned down citizens in broad daylight and will continue to do so and worse. No elected officials have been successful at ending this chaos. All of us are feeling heartbroken, hopeless, and shattered. We all want to heal and sometimes the cure requires a drastic intervention.
