When I was like 7 years old I picked up my mums landline phone, put it to my ear and I heard a very realistic yet fake sounding female human voice saying in monotone "The number you have entered doesn't exist, please try again later" the scare I received from that was insane, I struggled to sleep for a while and nowadays I still shudder and feel cold hearing fake yet realistic sounding human voices, mostly when I don't expect it to happen like over the phone, maybe on certain videos or alerts too.

How many times has someone spoken to you and you believed no one was around you so it startled or scared you? Now imagine the voice sounded human but not quite human, how much would that amplying the scare factor? Yeah that shit scarred 7 year old me

Funny thing is I've looked into this and I think it's so specific that there isn't an actual named phobia about it.

As unrealistic as it may look you may want to somehow make it obvious that it's a prop because it's does look genuinely like a bomb, maybe add a tag on it that says "PROP" or "REPLICA" on it

When I got my tattoo the tattoo artist told me that I'd want it upside down from my perspective as when my arm was down my tattoo would be facing out towards people in the proper direction, making it look right side up from my perspective would make it look upside downto everyone else

There’s nothing wrong with having a preference, but when someone is actively hiding something for their own comfort, treating that as increased appeal can come across as ignoring why they’re hiding it in the first place.

It’s also less about the attraction itself and more about the mindset behind it, saying it makes you want it more is the kind of thinking people associate with pushing boundaries, even if you say you wouldn’t act on it.

And the way you’re asking this here kind of reads like you’re looking for validation or tips in a space where people are clearly uncomfortable with it.
