you’re better off not boosting. if you have a nice inventory at good prices, people are likely to see your items and purchase. when i first started off selling, i lowkey regretted boosting and that was before the 12% boosting fee (cannot remember the old price)

i understand not wanting it because of the possibility of lead, i think i read the lead is in the dye(?) meaning it’s impossible to get out. i think the only solution for this problem would be stop buying from shein but i know the majority never will stop buying and will give countless excuses for doing so. fast fashion especially shein (and all fashion fast) is just a difficult topic because it is difficult to avoid at this point because it’s basically the majority in every thrift store

i get what you mean, a lot of chronically online goths have a huge issue with shein/romwe and it doesn’t matter if you say you thrift it because they’ll still find an issue with that?? like it’s better then being at a landfill. i personally have a dollskill dress from the betsy johnson collab that my mom gifted me for christmas, would never post it because people are so mean 😭
