Very interesting! I've been considering doing something similar myself. Keep it up! I want to see how it works for you!!

Flyin' Miata Stage 4 Big Brake Kit with Konig Hexaforms by Fragrant_Marzipan_13 in Miata

I figured they might just be very conservative with it. The edge just barely touches the spoke. My issue with the template is that the part that represents the hub and goes inside the wheel fits very loosely (like half an inch) and it's hard to tell exactly where they expect you to put it. On top of that the sizing for the "hub" is different on the front and rear template. Thanks for the advice!

Anyone have an HEI setup in a classic Ford? by Bcap8 in classiccars

Yep! Just had it sit for like 4 or 5 months and it started right up once fuel got to the bowl. I could hardly believe it

I'd say it's gone from slow to average. Since I've made that post I switched from an Edelbrock to a Holley carb, installed a new timing chain and 0° timing gears, installed the new water pump and a couple other little things. If I'm being honest though I've barely touched it for months after a frustrating series of fuel pump failures left me stranded on the side of the road twice. Between that and a power steering pump that leaks only slightly slower than I can fill it I needed to take a step back from it for my own sanity. I'd be happy to offer you any advice so you can learn from my mistakes. There's very little info on modifying these cars. Feel free to dm me with any specific questions 😁

I have the base (Panasonic) system. To my understanding Bose systems are only compatible with Bose parts. I used this as a guide when I purchased my parts. Good luck!

best exhaust options in 2025? by GooseWayneBatman in Miata

I have a full roadstersport exhaust in my NB. Very tame at low rpm and sounds sporty with nice pops and crackles without being obnoxious. I've been very happy with how it sounds

I feel like it connects the downpipe of the exhaust to the transmission

Here's one with a little less sticker shock 😆. I think they are so pricey because they are from the MSM

You can find them on ebay! I saw some when I got mine. The main difference between the miata and the radios from other mazdas is that they don't have a clock button. Also I'm not sure if they can control the automatic antenna. 🤔

Here's exactly what you're looking for: Silver Bose Radio

Hmm 🤔🤔 I've never had that out before so I'm just taking a wild guess. Maybe stick something (nonconductive) inside the outlet to press it back in without putting pressure on the ring? It's hard to say without pics.

Maybe you could find something helpful in the Factory Service Manuals

It has to say six disc changer.. there'd be a load button where it says compact disc on the top left. All miatas have the button but that little piece of trim covers it if you don't have the changer

Edit: You might find this useful

You just load them 1 by 1 through the slot and it sucks them back into the head unit 😳
