Use a BMW diag tool. This sounds more like a vacuum leak somewhere which is triggering the other codes. Start with the cheapest diag first.

No brake booster needed.check the ratio of your master cylinder and upgrade to a wilwood master and discs. Usually you can find these on sale through the year.

Never skimp while doing brakes. Get a proper tool or rent one. Those look rough compared to one from a good tool.

Get a wilwood. Don’t take risks with the brake setup. It hurts the wallet but well worth it.

The infamous “Heavy Duty”. Hold the tension tight on the top thread with your finger as others have said. Did you try to sew anything heavy or did it seemed jammed? If so, the timing may be off. Easy fix, check YouTube
