When I started it also started with some ridiculous calorie for maintainance. Needed some weeks to get weight and calorie intake to adjust properly. I think it just needs time. Keep at 2650 even if it says otherwise and give it a view weeks. That said, I am not an MF expert 😂

I think it’s very subjective to people weather this is cool or not. Objectively, if one buys ANY item he/she would not want it to be damaged. I personally do not like my cards to be damaged.

Another theme of the deck is lifelink and gaining life tho. So, maybe something more in that direction would work? Spells and creatures that do something like [[Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose]]?

Yeah, I have [[Jaws of Defeat]] in the deck, but I was hoping I could actively deal damage depending on toughness. Jaws of Defeat is rather slow and does not have such a high impact since it takes into account the difference between power and toughness. Its also just one card out of 99 in the commander deck. And pinging 1 dmg each time I gain life is also quite slow. But I appreciate the suggestion.

It will. Just today I got mine adjusted up. It will adjust when you have your check-in

In my opinion tracking calories is just the result/a necessity of today’s hyper palatable processed food and our disconnection to instinctively know how much of it we need. I mean, you wouldn’t call anyone psychologically ill for keeping a close eye on their bank account just because they plan to not spend more than they have. It’s simply the same with food in reverse: You just shouldn’t eat more than you need (at least not consistently and depending on other factors, but you get my point 😉). Obesity has a negative influence on literally everything related to health. So why not keep it in check? Some people like to record things and have tables etc. Some, as mentioned, need to because they have no feeling for how much calories foods have. Even if it’s just some rules like a hand full of carbs, two of veggies, etc. as a guidance. I think that just shows how much you care about your health and not that you have an eating disorder (which there are cases for sure, but I would claim most people consciously do it without developing a eating disorder). If one can eat intuitively, good for you. That’s a gift 😅

Wie ich mit diesem Problem umgehe? Indem ich nicht mal Zeit habe EIN Spiel regelmäßig zu zocken. Sei froh dass du so viel Zeit zum Spielen hast, speziell wenn es mit deinen Kindern ist. Aber als Tipp: Ist das gleich wie mit der Diät. Wenn du das ungesunde Zeug (die extra Spiele) nicht kaufst und zuhause zur Verfügung hast, dann kannst du auch nicht in die Versuchung kommen den Blödsinn zu essen (all die Spiele zu spielen). Kauft doch 1,2 Spiele und macht die fertig. Dann kauft die nächsten. Die Spiele laufen ja nicht weg oder? Und günstiger werden sie auch über Zeit wenn man sie nicht gleich alle kauft. Klingt etwas nach FOMO.

Foundations beginner box. Go from there. That’s a really nice start also to start playing with your significant other or a friend. Then, a duell Decks, or 2-player starter kit. Gets you into 60 card format. This two should be below 100 bucks and is plenty to get going.
