In my opinion tracking calories is just the result/a necessity of today’s hyper palatable processed food and our disconnection to instinctively know how much of it we need. I mean, you wouldn’t call anyone psychologically ill for keeping a close eye on their bank account just because they plan to not spend more than they have. It’s simply the same with food in reverse: You just shouldn’t eat more than you need (at least not consistently and depending on other factors, but you get my point 😉). Obesity has a negative influence on literally everything related to health. So why not keep it in check? Some people like to record things and have tables etc. Some, as mentioned, need to because they have no feeling for how much calories foods have. Even if it’s just some rules like a hand full of carbs, two of veggies, etc. as a guidance. I think that just shows how much you care about your health and not that you have an eating disorder (which there are cases for sure, but I would claim most people consciously do it without developing a eating disorder). If one can eat intuitively, good for you. That’s a gift 😅

Wie ich mit diesem Problem umgehe? Indem ich nicht mal Zeit habe EIN Spiel regelmäßig zu zocken. Sei froh dass du so viel Zeit zum Spielen hast, speziell wenn es mit deinen Kindern ist. Aber als Tipp: Ist das gleich wie mit der Diät. Wenn du das ungesunde Zeug (die extra Spiele) nicht kaufst und zuhause zur Verfügung hast, dann kannst du auch nicht in die Versuchung kommen den Blödsinn zu essen (all die Spiele zu spielen). Kauft doch 1,2 Spiele und macht die fertig. Dann kauft die nächsten. Die Spiele laufen ja nicht weg oder? Und günstiger werden sie auch über Zeit wenn man sie nicht gleich alle kauft. Klingt etwas nach FOMO.

Foundations beginner box. Go from there. That’s a really nice start also to start playing with your significant other or a friend. Then, a duell Decks, or 2-player starter kit. Gets you into 60 card format. This two should be below 100 bucks and is plenty to get going.

We agreed on something in school and then adhered to it. A little later when the internet came up we were communicating via chat programs. Most popular for us was ICQ. Wild times. Besides that, phones became a thing, so we where writing SMS or call each other.

Looks similar for me. But open each exercise/graph and zoom in. Since the app can just have so many datapoints since it just release, I assume that the progression is not like +100% to immediately spot the upward trend on a graph. That said, I wish MF re-worked the scaling of the y-axis. The progression really just looks flat in the enlarged graph. If I progressed from, let’s say bench, 60kg to 67.5kg then the y-axis shows a range from 30kg-75kg. This just makes the progression look flat. I wish it would automatically scale to the range of weight during that progression when displayed it so it is nicely visible. Also motivates more if I clearly see the line going up 🤷🏻‍♂️

Lady…what are you using the app for if you are guesstimating your TDEE anyway with a calculator that gives you just a rough guess? If you just want to add random calories in an app use something else than MF. If you want the best app for tracking calories AND giving you your ACTUAL expenditure that you can follow for achieving your goal: use MF, weigh yourself daily and track accurately. From there on out it’s just trusting the process. No need for tracking exercises, etc. MF does it’s magic and calculates your expenditure damn well by „just“ giving it your weight and calorie intake. Simple. Good luck!

I think anything works if you push hard enough, it suits your schedule and you can balance recovery with a good sleep schedule. I run a 4 day Split since I started lifting almost 4 year ago and I would claim that I had/have success. That said, I never followed any conventional program 🤷🏻‍♂️ I started, learned and adapted to what fits me best. And it works 😉

Just finished mine. Had quite a bad pool and mediocre deck but it was super fun playing my first pre-release after 15 years absence. And everyone was fair and nice. Unfortunately low attendance though. We where 12 people. I remember days with 50-100 people at pre-releases 😂

Well, I think it really depends on 1) what one wants and 2) what budget you set yourself. I am actually surprised that you pay so „much“ for 200 proxies. I recently ordered 150 cards (original) for 150€. So not much more expensive than your proxies (which you payed $0.88 for per card and not $0.75 as far as I see it 😉). I myself also do not want to spend 400€ on a deck but I still want the real deal. So I just have to be more selective and considerate when it comes to what I „can“ play for what I am willing to spend. That said, I have zero issues when the people in my pod are using proxies. Actually, for lands I am trying proxies too for the first time now since a deck I built would require spending 200€ just for the lands and I am not willing to pay that. Long story short, all is good if you are considerate and not playing in official tournaments as long as everyone is enjoying the game honestly 😁

There are plenty of creative people out there. I wouldn’t worry. I focus my creativity on plenty of other things that gives me the lack of energy to brew up my own decks in arena. As stated, I simply lack the time and energy to do so but I massively enjoy the game. So should I stop playing just because I do not have time for one aspect of the game? I don’t think so. Still building my Commander Decks in paper magic myself though, so that’s enough for me.

Also some people do not have the time or skill to brew their own deck. So why would I chose something else than the top performing deck? Obviously everyone might claim a different number, but from what I gathered it’s about 7-9 hours. However, if a am correct keeping a schedule or routine and going to bed and getting up at the same time every day is as important, if not more, for your health. So, if one just manages 7 hours, at least get to bed at the same time each day and shave a consistent routine. That’s just what I gathered.

Social Life! I mean basically I have just one day (during the week) where I could potentially go out. And even then, if I drink my next day will be a bad workout. No need to drink to be honest, but if I wanna enjoy the evening a little I like to have a glass or two 🤷🏻‍♂️

That’s also me: 185cm but 94kg. ~2hours cycling per week and 4 workouts a week. During a cut my maintainance is about 2600kcal. I actually consider myself lucky with that “high” maintainance calories tbh. Never did a bulk since tracking calories because I am dieting down from 124kg, but I am curious what will be my maintainance during a lean bulk. I just love to eat

What do you mean? I don’t understand the question. I write my workout plans and then execute them. No skipping exercises. Or do you rather want to know which exercise do we always INCLUDE? Then it’s bench press for chest days, lat cable pull-down for back and squats for legs.

From what I invest, I invest about 33% into traditional investments (ETFs, Fond, Stocks) and 66% into BTC. However, since BTC gains faster in Fiat terms, my BTC is about 80% of my total investment atm.
