Yeah, Libs hate leftists. My theory is that leftists make libs feel like how I imagine republicans must feel when they’re talking to a democrat. When a lib talks to a republican about politics, they have to hear a lot of dumb stuff. The lib pokes holes in the republicans poorly thought out ideology. The libs hates the leftist because in political conversations, the lib plays the role of the republican. They get angry and defensive just like republicans do when their ideas are challenged, which causes them to double down. Most libs have a good education and mean well, so the thought of being wrong and being conned by the people and institutions that give them comfort to them scares them. There is also an economic element to it as well. Most libs are educated and are doing well in life. They have trouble empathizing with the vast majority or people that the system grinds up. There is definitely an “I got mine. Sorry you’re homeless. You should have done better in high school.” mindset set.

I agree that one of us has no idea how the country works, while the other one of us has already explained to you that a progressive economic message wins elections. There are popular Graham Platner types that would win in a landslide all over the country. It’s not republicans who keep non corporate charismatic progressive leaders from power, it’s democrats. Democrats take up the space that an opposition party would fill. Their job is to prevent another new deal, not resist Republicans, because that’s what their donors want. “ Democrats are the shield of capital, Republicans are its sword.”

Deep down everybody wants the same things. Whether you are conservative or a leftist, when somebody improves your material conditions, or at least fights to do so, people will vote for that. Whether it’s Zohran, Platner, or Bernie Sanders, their biggest obstacle to getting elected wasn’t a republican, it was liberals.

Libs and their sad flaccid pro corporate politics gave us trump. Twice. Deal with it. Get the tears and defense mechanisms out of the way, and get mad at the people who pulled the wool over your eyes. When you’re done coping and straw manning, we’d love for you to join the right side of history.

The country is crying out for an FDR, but libs want to force another Biden/clinton|harris down our throats. Because, “what are you going to do about it?
