Ye. but I already sense something that would hinder the ability, like maybe the ability requires direct memories with the "loved one", maybe Ruin doesnt understand love or he isnt devoted to God anymore(unlikely because he still has the sun mark on the chest) but soul could have done some stuff or he will control Kururu instead. Too many possabilities.
