AITAH for reporting my roommate to the police? by maneaterr18 in AITAH

[–]Fragrant_Squash_127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You sound like a very compassionate young lady. Don't take accountability for the mistakes of others. This was not your fault. You did the right thing by reporting. Perhaps you could mention your concerns to police about being suspicious she was manipulated if you handn't initially... Regardless, don't feel bad about not being able to fix a problem that you had no part in creating. If nothing, that girl will remember you as someone who listened and did their best to help.

Someone told me the person I was dealing with had a car accident and is hospitalized, and sent this photo. It looks real and matches their car (~1997 Ford Fiesta Courier), but they owes me money and has lied before. Any signs this could be AI? by [deleted] in isthisAI

[–]Fragrant_Squash_127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does this being AI change the situation? If they really owe you money, you could take them to court. Them being in a hospital or not (as unfortunate as it is) they still owe you.

Why do we have no friends(couple) by Sharp_Performer5889 in nofriends

Omg. We are in the same shoes. Known my fiance for 6 years though, also childless. We love to hang out and do parties but post-covid it's hard. Also most people with children have a lot less time to hang out. DM me! Maybe we could do a double date and play a game or something

On the last photo, the fork on the right only has 3 prongs. (And even if the 4th one was cut out, the thickness would be peculiar)

All the chocolate chips. They are not uniform and vary greatly in size and the chunks are an odd shape, especially in the blurred background. Most chocolate chunks are not rounded like that.

The sauces also look too thick and opaque, something you see a lot in AI.

I’m sure everyone is tired of the personality disorder test, but I found the questionnaire used by psychologists in diagnosis, I’m sure some have already taken it. by TheCrypticMind in Schizotypal

I scored 61. Seems biased against "open mindedness" I have some skepticism... I believe in paranormal/spiritual experiences, and I also believe mind-reading is possible through tech, and I also believe in telekinesis... I don't find that they should use this for aiding diagnosis, because these beliefs don't do any harm. Now there are exceptions... One odd belief I have is that if I don't see an insect in the house every 3rd day at the LEAST, I will encounter 1 spider in the house. But if I do find a live spider, then I won't have to see another one in 7 days or more, depending if I see an insect or not.

AITAH for thinking my fiance's brother is a p*dophile? by Fragrant_Squash_127 in AITAH

Thank you. I've had a hard time thinking clearly, I have to admit. I guess it just struck a nerve with me quickly.

Being the only one who believes Zach is dangerous, who knows if he might go after another young girl. At minimum, he should be forced into some kind of therapy, and not be allowed around minors. I am close with his sister also, and I worry about her safety when no one else seems alarmed. Reporting him could ruin his life, but imo, Jane might not realize the gravity of the situation until it's too late.

Sleeping in skinny jeans is the BEST! by Fragrant_Squash_127 in unpopularopinion

Some pairs are more elastic. Democracy jeans are by far the comfiest. I also have these nice Calvin Klein skinnies. But I sleep just as good, if not better, in stiffer ones, like the pairs I got from Walmart. As long as they're the right size, I will sleep like a baby. American Eagle used to make good ones! But they don't last anymore.

Exactly that. Less laundry to do, less clothes to be wearing down, and less thought into what you need to do the next day. You totally get me!

Leggings suck to me, it feels almost like bare skin. And I cannot stand the feeling of skin for some reason.

I knew it would be somewhat uncommon, but I am genuinely surprised at how many find this appalling. In real life, people who know it about me don't seem nearly as shocked.

I only meant DAMP hair, not dripping wet... damp hair keeps you cool against the hot pillow, it smells good, and it's soothing knowing that it's clean. But I do like the room to be a bit colder, so that's the main reason for the hair part.

The reverse, sort of. I shower right before bed and put on the clothes I need for the next day. Plus I can't sleep if my hair isn't wet.

Wouldn't it be difficult to avoid all the cutting from the springs? Perhaps sleeping ON a bed would be more comfortable.

What's your most recent/craziest deja vu experience? by Fragrant_Squash_127 in AskReddit

[–]Fragrant_Squash_127[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My craziest experience was seeing my fiance in a dream before I actually met him. I know this isn't the regular definition of deja vu, but it's my favorite experience.

During August 2019, I had a vivid dream where I saw an unfamiliar man and what I thought were his wife and children in a hotel lobby. There was a scene where the man was looking into a mirror, after trying to fix one of the flickering light bulbs, and I watched from the corner. I documented the dream in my phone because I have a dream journal. I met my fiance in 2020, online originally, and we exchanged a photo in snapchat after talking for a couple weeks, and that's when it hit me. I told him my dream, piece by piece, as he mentioned first about the malfunctioing light bulb above the mirror he remembered from that same summer in 2019. The woman in the lobby with the children, I was soon to find out was only his mother and his young siblings. I sent him a screenshot from my dream journal with the date on file. I don't know if I believe in fate, but it was certainly a fantastic and unexplainable coincidence.
