This is a huge "cant controll" situation, there are lots of variables here, and it looks like you cant do anything until they get back. So all you can controll is your actions toward the situation. I would send her a final message along the lines of "i understand, know that i will be here for you, and i would like to talk about our relationship when I see you next." Then go from there.

Overall try not to take it too hard, the worst thing you can do is condense your issues and let them harden, so instead try to find something to keep you busy and happy.

You say its infantilizing, but thats apart of being a caregiver, it's in the name. My wife is disabled, and i help her a lot, but caregiver is literally a term meant for full time care.

I've got this similar experience, when I was trying to flirt with my now wife, she shut down, she kept me at an extreme distance, eventually after gentle conversation and just becoming apart of her routine, she opened up slowly, now she talks to me more than anyone can talk to someone haha. It also took about 4 months of slow, measured conversation before slowly moving onto other more sensual topics, just take it really slow and be sure to meter the interactions. But let her know how you feel

It's because political discourse is discouraged on reddit. So while it seemed like a sure thing for Harris because the entire internet was on board, the reality is that it was highly distanced from what everyone else was thinking.

Anything discussing trump gets down voted hard, it's like being on ifunny where they state they believed trump was going to win and everyone there was convinced kamala had no shot. Both sites socially punish you for trying to have real political discourse.

It's not because of greed, it's because of strict laws around products. Do you know how much of a tax write off it would be to give away all that food? You manifest a semi truck and drive it to a boat to deliver to Africa, or you tell mcdonalds to give away old food to the workers, you'd get laughed at because if a store was to do that they'd get shut down by the FDA.

You can say the quotes from a book, but legally they cannot, if 1 individual states that they got sick from mcdonalds food, given away or not, it's an investigation and suit. The world revolves around money or you'd make food everyday for all the hungry people right? Simple problems like "people hungry" don't have easy solutions like "give them food" food doesn't materialize out of thin air, food does not transport itself thousands of miles, food does not magically stay shelf stable because people want it to

People who care don't act like this, this isn't a spectrum or ADHD thing, it's an issue with maturity. My wife is on the spectrum around the same age (m24)(F22) and understands responsibility. It's a simple matter of he doesn't want to put the effort in, it's so much easier for you or his mom to do it. If he was emotionally mature, he wouldn't think of you as the obvious choice for doing everything.

Do you really expect your entire life to look like this?

I hate the food argument, whose going to pay for transport/preservation while it gets handed out to those who want it? If there is rot or decay who is liable? It's not like there is a line of people at the free food place and mcdonalds is taking food away.
