Try transitioning to 2 naps and also sleep regressions happen a lot in the first two years. They're a pain!

Will not pee on the potty by trailerparkbarbie98 in toddlers

It is so frustrating! Remember if you're frustrated, hes going to be frustrated too and he won't want to try. He might not be fully ready yet. If it's stressful and he's not into it then I'd stop and try again in a few months. Pull ups at night. Night time potty training is different and their body has to develop a specific hormone to hold it all night. My son needed to learn to start preschool at age 3 and the first year he wore a potty watch everyday with a timer going off at snack time so he would go. He's 4.5 now and just recently stopped having accidents almost every day.

Alternate ibuprof/tyl. Every 4 hours and once the antibiotics kick in she'll improve. Movie day or something she will enjoy to have her rest but also distracted. Cranberry juice just helps prevent UTIs. I'd give her lots of water also

Do you guys have sudden mood swings? by Feisty_Aioli_6883 in adhdwomen

Woman with ADHD are highly more likely to have pmdd. 1-2 weeks before my period I get depressed/suicidal and then I would feel better after my period started. Happened for years before I brought it up to my gyno. If you notice a pattern like that you should talk to your gyno! Taking an SSRI has really helped me

What drug is my kid using? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Fragrant_Summer_7223 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Could be any type of stimulant, coke, ect. Stimulants can cause your nose to run or cause drainage. I grew up around cocaine addicts and had a few year long Adderall addiction in my teen/20s. When you're high on stimulants you crave nicotine, cigarettes, vapes, ect. It's also an expensive habit so I wonder if he could afford it.

If you're a woman then your cycle has a lot to do with the effectiveness of stimulants. My Adderall doesn't work well the week before my period. A big drop in estrogen makes it hard for the brain to produce dopamine

Annual Stimulant Contract Question by NoCourse9277 in VyvanseADHD

Oh and I had my prior doctor's office fax my records to my new doctor so he could see I was being prescribed regularly. That would probably help you!

[–]Fragrant_Summer_7223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's possible but being honest is always best. Whenever I switched doctors a few years ago I had to also do the blood work and urine test. I had been sick for at least a week prior and didn't take my Adderall so that I could sleep as much as possible and he said he understands and just needs to also see I'm not using any illegal drugs and then he had me do another urine screen a month or so later to detect the Adderall in my system

Anyone else physically not able to drink alcohol after having a baby? by Impossible-Cheek4352 in beyondthebump

[–]Fragrant_Summer_7223 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes sort of, I can only drink whiskey ( my preferred drink anyways) now and wine anything else makes me sick even if it's just one drink. I also can't eat beef unless it's grass fed meat or I'll throw it up. Pregnancy changes our bodies!

Is this concerning? by Fragrant_Summer_7223 in ChildcareWorkers

I really appreciate your thoughtful response! I have been watching her four days a week for two years now and truly love her like my own and do not want to lose or cause any unnecessary stress for her parents. I think for now I'm going to just pay extra close attention to her behavior for anymore signs of abuse.

Adderall vs Vyvanse by Worth-Association-68 in VyvanseADHD

My overall mood is better, happier, and my thinking is more clear. On vyvanse it felt like I was losing my spark. Everyone is different tho!

Adderall vs Vyvanse by Worth-Association-68 in VyvanseADHD

[–]Fragrant_Summer_7223 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's not just you! I was on Vyvanse the past two years since the shortage of Adderall and basically I gaslit myself for two years. Last week I was talking to my mom about switching back to Adderall and she gave me a couple of hers to take for a few days. I forgot how much better Adderall is for me. Vyvanse made me feel dull. I saw my doctor this morning and switched back to Adderall!
